Anyone want to help frank the tank

I never did any rec drugs. But I am battling drinking. Addiction is hard to beat. I go to meetings 4x a week.

One thing I have picked up is how @brutus79 metioned is the bottom. I have had a dozen good dudes pass from H. And not all users have a bottom. I hope it works out man. Cause we all know where heroin eventually takes you.

I don’t know your living situation @wedorecover. But at some point if he is still using and he lives with you. Eventually a fix will be more important than your friendship. Many users steal from their own moms, wives, family ect..... good luck

I would heed @brutus79 advice bc he has been there done that and succeeded.

The latter is something VERY FEW can achieve in the long term.

@HIGHRISK @picholas @PurplePandaLabs Rep. @ickyrica this is what i found out i have all the other info needed also
Just got home from work and seen this. Also seen you got the ticket covered already. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help beyond a bus ticket. Food or clothes or something along those lines. I once danced with heroin when I was younger among a laundry list other things. I got arrested went to jail and had a kid all at the same time. Honestly the hardest thing I've ever done in my life was kick H. Just the physical pain alone will make u wanna die. If it wasn't for my son, my girl who now is my wife who put up with my dumbass for 20yrs. I'd be dead or locked up!

That's an excellent point, bc those who kick an addiction have what NO rehab system can provide, a strong social support system and something worth living for!

@Millard Baker How about a sticky on this subject ? I honestly believe Meso's community would support such an endeavor. (I'ii do my best to ensure it does not morph into some anti-AAS thread!)

Whatever happens bro, don’t let this deflect you from your goals and the fact that you too don’t want to be enticed or stressed into relapses of your own.

We all know that it’s not just kicking the substance, in ya also kicking all the friends and associates that go along with that world. Your friend Frank will have be clear of all that, and becasue he basically comes into your domain with all of that, you have to stay level and clear headed. Judging from the way you speak, as a caring and compassionate person, I reckon it would be a lot easier for you to fight him than to turn your back on him. But know one thing, I’d it gets to that, you would be turning you back on him but saving your own ass! There is dishonorable in that. I do t know anything about Frank, but I’ve seen you around enough to wish you good luck brother.

Edit: I meant “nothing” dishonorable..

Sending money wasn't something I'm personally comfortable with... But, I have to say I really respect the guys in here willing to help.

@wedorecover, it's a respectable thing you're doing and I feel I've personally taken something away from this. I hope you'll be careful though... Keep being smart, and don't let your guard down.
Ty man .... and im not going to put my self in a position for him to pull me down ...

@wedorecover This is VERY respectable thing your doing my man BUT be careful with letting too many addicts in your life while YOU are also recovering. That shut usually doesn't end well. I hope Frank gets better but he's gonna have to make his own damn mind up to straighten up for good...not just when he runs out of cash and hits bottom.

Definitely

I was wondering where the Tank has been and it is sad to hear he relapsed and hopefully he can be brought back from the brink of hell. Good to see Meso members rallying to a good cause and hope it ends well for all.
