Are Raw protein shakes or bulking powders real food?

So I get lots of shit every time someone finds out 4 out of 6 meals are a protein shake. I also see lots of videos of people saying it’s not real food.

I agree the tub of crap most buy at gnc is not real food, and most of the protein is passed strait through, but not all protein shakes are the same. Some of us make ours from scratch with raw ingredients.

I personally believe my shakes are real food as 90% of the ingredients are real food.

What do you think? Is there a difference in blended food vs whole food? (Other than the time it’s in the stomach) Is there a difference between bulking powders and Raw food protein shakes?

Two cups rice milk(during bulk)
Two bananas with blueberries
35 grams egg whit protein
10 grams beef gelatin protein
2 protease enzyme
Raw Spinach
Three grams joint support(after workout)


I am adickted to them.

Why rice milk and not whole milk?

What kind of brand enzymes - and what's the difference btw using those and not?

Rice milk makes it taste better and I can’t do diary. I use water when I need to loose some fat.

Transformation protease. It’s for digesting all the protein. Eat 200 grams of egg white protein without it and your ass becomes a volcano. With it no issues at all.

I've noticed that it's really hard to not become a WMD gas device - right now I'm eating loads of protein and I don't even want to be in the same room as my ass at times. Stink!

You're saying the "transformation protease" makes you less smelly? This product?

Protease 120 capsules.

It works quite well for the gas associated with proteins not broken down. I have some gas but it’s minimal. If I consume more than 15grams protien in liquid form or 30 grams as solid food I have to take them or become an ass rocket.



The shake fits into a nutrabullett large container(1quart)

I forgot an ingredient! Avocado oil. 14g fat

Blended. It taste like a banana. U can’t taste anything else in it. Not enough spinach or blueberries. The egg white and beef gelatin protein is flavorless and makes it thick like a milk shake.

In total it’s over 800 cal, 40 grams protein,120g carbs 14g fat.
