Lol the MOST anonymous? You'lol prob have to ask @pumpingiron22 and I would LOVE to sit in on that convo while our heads spin lol.

Circle was DEFINITELY among the least anonymous services available for BTC, but it was also likely the most used due to its convenience.

I'd like to see PI22 restart his service here, I think it would be incredibly useful for a lot of people now that Circle is gone and the next most convenient system is already getting John Doe summons from the IRS for EVERYONE'S trading habits.

What about buying off Paxful.? Cause they allow you to by Bitcoin with a prepaid card I would assume if you bought the prepaid card with cash then bought Bitcoin transferred to a secure wallet like green address then that would be pretty damn anonyms

Oh absolutely. You can even do the localbitcoins route too. The only reason I don't recommend those to people is simply because of the fees involved. For instance, I just went on to paxful and attempted to buy $800 in BTC (roughly 1.04 BTC) and the best deals I was getting for ANY purchasing method was around 0.7 BTC. I'm not comfortable paying a 34% fee. But yes, paxful and localbitcoins are both certainly options. Just make sure your wallet is anonymous and you're good to go :)

There are a fair bit of places to purchase BTC, it's a matter of measuring their fees against how quickly you receive against how anonymous. If you're willing to pay 10%+ for your BTC, you have no shortage of anonymous options.

As for your wallet, PI22 would better be able to answer that. But any wallet that doesn't require ID or is attached to your IP address is sufficiently anonymous.

So what are you guys planning to use that was using circle?

I think 95%+ of people are gonna migrate to Coinbase. They have the lowest fees (besides trading sites like kraken and Gemini) along with great convenience. They're not at all anonymous, but neither was Circle and most people still used it.

Wow, I just had a business idea, I need to source bitcoins on a board, lol
Plenty of customers and need

I felt this was gonna happen, I've been stock piling bitcoin and see them as a good investment as long as the government doesn't shut them down

I was looking at coinbase and the whole irs thing. Looks like it's really only going to matter to people who are using coinbase for gain. I buy thousands of dollars of stuff on amazon every year and don't pay sales tax. I can't see them coming after a few hundred dollars here and there. But I could be wrong.

Oh I don't see the govt shutting BTC down, they stand to make a lot of money from people trading it. If the IRS gets their wish and seizes Coinbase's records, they're gonna be able to hit A LOT of people with back taxes.

I don't think so either tbh. That summons is mainly to get big time traders who made 6 figures during btc's more volatile periods. If you buy BTC only to send it immediately, I can't see any govt agency coming to your door. That's why people used Circle, and that's why I think most will just migrate to Coinbase. It's not anonymous, but it's simple and cheap.
