Assault rifle owners, what ya rockin?

Actually they aren't classified as assault weapons unless they're fully automatic and that requires a special license.
These are semi automatic, therefore they aren't assault weapons.
I'm with @MadBret . Even though I live in a state that loves their guns, I'm hesitant to share what I have.
Unless you live in California in which case they have their own classification for assault weapons. Also I never said they were

We got a gun thread already. I don't like referring to modern sporting rifles as assault weapons. That's what the liberals do so the can try and outlaw them.
True. Just easy way to classify the type of guns I was talking abt but I understand where you're coming from all the way

None of the calibers listed are hearing safe with cans. I hope you still wear good hearing protection.
Yeah I still do. 300 blackout subs with a big can have been fine but it's not something I would ever make a habit of.

.22 LR suppressed is my favorite. Just super fun to shoot.

Knights Armament SR-15 with a 1-6x (want the vortex 1-10x) is my baby. Also have a BCM pistol lower with a 11.5 DD upper on it with an Aimpoint Pro. The KAC is the softest rifle I’ve ever shot other than a .22. My 7 year old hits bullseyes all day with it off the bench. SBRs is where it’s at trough. 11.5 5.56 is just crazy fun to shoot.

This is what I'm looking to get soon, I've heard good things abt it. All mil spec, I know pof is pricey but I think I'm gonna pull the trigger (no pun intended, lol)

So I own a few carbines but Im going to pick up an A.R pistol.
Springfield has a saint edge with a 10.3 barrel that I'm leaning to but they also have the pdw thats a "5.5 barrel with some slick features. Neither is a need just going to get one. Anyone have any experience or input on these?

Be aware that the ATF is reclassifying pistol braces as making an SBR, so you may have to pay a $200 tax and wait 10 months to be legal with a brace (although after paying the $200 and waiting you might as well put a real rifle stock on it).

Commentary period for this proposal is open right now if you want to voice any objections (not that it will matter, as they have been wanting to do this for a long time).

Yeah, they’re definitely looking into it. E-file the stamp while you have a brace, you can still shoot it, then when the stamp comes in swap out the brace for a stock. Buying a SBR outright just causes you to have to wait for it to get out of jail. I don’t see how the ATF will enforce current braced pistols though if they say you have to SBR it. Seems like they would have to give some room and time for people to file and still be able to shoot the guns. But, this is the wackadoo democrats running the show so some nonsensical ruling will probably come out. Fortunately, we are setting records month after month for gun sales in America.

I habe a 10in and my brother made a 5.5 or.6in can remember exactly right now.. I can say the 5 in.. is retarded loud.. there.is alot of unburned powder going out the barrel..it's fun to shoot.for.5 mins.. then it's not as much fun as a 10in.. or 14.5-16 in.. 10in.. is a good length for concealment/cqb and accuracy medium to long range.. long being 200 yards.. . But most likely a short gun like that will habe a close range optics and anything over 100-150 is hard.to see lol for me atleast

I rather not say what I have or don't have.. I will say I made a big dumb mistake when I was a very young man.. lost all of my rights and my.freedom for some.time.. did my time paid everything I needed to pay.. then 5 years later paid an attorney to file my expungement.. 14grand and 1.5 years later I got all my right back!! I got some of.my stuff back.. and then started purchasing again .. moved from a freedom state to a communist state to take care of my gramma as she passed and had to transfer most of them to a close family member.. ended up being in this State longer then expected.. that's how life goes.. hard to uproot and start over agsin.. been saving for awhile and need about 5.more years of saving and find a decent job in my old state and me and my family are moving back.. crazy how thing change in your life.. plans get changed goals get moved around.. thing happen you habe no control over but you have to do the rigvt.thing.. fuck communist states haha

Well, when the wackodoo Republicans were running the show, they gave three months notice on bump stocks being machine guns. It takes about 8-10 months now to register an SBR, so there will be a long period of time where you better not have the brace on it or even in your house and shoot it only like a pistol, or you are unnecessarily risking a federal felony with a 10 year sentence with no parole.

The current makeup of the Supreme Court may very well strike down the ban on felons purchasing or possessing firearms, for nonviolent felony convictions, although there is no telling how far away in the future that might be.

I just read that S&W has an m&p out with a 7.5 in barrel. I'm going probably invest in a couple different fun guns.

They make the pistols in .308 now. That may be a little much for me personally but pretty bad ass.
