Astro Labs Genotropin - GH Serum/IGF-1 2015-05

Are you still using the cartridges? What are your igf1 levels now?

The reason I'm asking is that I've used his pens for 2 months about 6 months back and I haven't felt the same since. About 5 weeks in I started having severe joint pain and lethargy/brain fog. My dose was 7iu a day. I stopped using it and felt a bit better but like I said before I'm still not the same although I am continuing to get better. What's bothering me the most is the brain fog and I have an mri coming up to see what's going on.

Now earlier someone said that his gh came from syntholan, and was confirmed to be bunk. So I did some research on syntholan and he manufactures his products from Belgium. If these cartridges are confirmed to be fake, god knows what he put in them. Apparently, in some countries outside of the us the gh is still being taken from pituitary cadavers and using this gh carries the risk of getting Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and one of the early symptoms of this disease is brain fog. It's how Lyle Alzado died. This really scares me.
You can relax... you would already be dead. Unless, of course, you are already dead.

I'm not lactating anymore bud .
Caber, aromasin ,and raloxine took care of that .

You're not? You were still lactating on Wednesday. That stuff must work pretty fast, eh?

My e2 levels are at 13pg which some consider low yet I'm still lactating. I would also like to add that my prolactin levels are in range.

Get a full checkup and a brain scan for your peace of mind. Hope you got a good doc who will get to the bottom of the mystery. Also have you come clean with your doc about that crap gh?

Not yet but I'll let him know when we go over the brain mri. The mri and physical are tomorrow and the follow up should be in a couple of days.

Progress has been slow but I'm feeling a little better each day. Within 1-2 months, I should be back in the gym. The whole process has been rough and I've lost a lot of my gains, but it's a learning experience. I appreciate all the support here and I hope other people considering the ugl or chinese gh will think twice before jumping the gun. The fact that Astro's gh didn't have the packaging was a red flag right off the bat.

Sucks to have to go thru all that but you've learned a very hard lesson. Hopefully you'll regain your health then get back to getting all your gains back!

I myself lost my gains after sustaining serious head and neck injury after taking a 3 story fall a dozen years ago, and still soldiering on in the gym despite some limitations...so yes it can be done getting back gains after a serious health setback.

Good luck in getting the treatment you need to get yourself back to normal :)

224 is like top of his reference range?

@bigboichoi I would be much more concerned with an autoimmune response w/ GH antibodies. Good luck, hope you are 100% soon

Could it be possible that his gh is 192aa instead of the 191aa? I heard if that is the case then I might have developed antibodies to gh. I am still waiting on the results of the mri but if a that comes out clear then I think I will see an endocrinologist. There is apparently a test that can determine whether or not I have gh antibodies so I will ask if I can get it.

Yea prob pretty easy to get. A possibility but very rare for antibodies develope then full blown autoimmune disorder after cessation of "therapy" 192aa used to be an FDA approved medication somatrem. Lotta info on it and the incidence of GH antibodies. I'll save you the time and tell you possible but very unlikely

Ok I went over the phyiscal bloodwork with my doc on Monday and everything was normal glucose, thyroid, etc except for monocyte levels they were slightly above the normal range. The range was 0-.8k/ul and mine was .94k/ul. He said that everything was good. But I later did some reading and found that monocyte levels are elevated when the body is fighting off a disease or there is inflammation. Anyway it's probably nothing serious.

But I need to contact an endo, come clean about the fake gh and ask about the gh antibody test. Things are getting better each day but I'm crossing my fingers that it's nothing serious like an autoimmune disorder.

I would think telling your endo will change the way he treats you in the future.. Would this affect your health insurance as well? Glad to hear your improving.. What problems are still manifesting?

That's a good point, I've been holding off on telling my primary doc for that reason. There is still some joint pain and muscle stiffness but its all manageable the only issue that is still bothering me are the headaches. I'm only able to do light jogging, if I try anything intense like sprinting or weight lifting I start getting a headache that lasts for the rest of the day. It's been frustrating as I have been already out of serious exercise and weight lifting for a while.

What are you running now for performance enhancing? trt?

Ok back to the topic at hand...

Had to take a break due to a surgery. I restarted the protocol 10 days ago. So I will be getting igf testing in a couple weeks.

I sent the GH in for analysis. MS/HPLC was conducted. Apparently I will not be receiving the actual reports but this is the info I was given:

22129 Dalton's and the amount of GH in the vial was 2.8 mg(supposed to contain 5.3)

The sample was PH grade but under dosed by about 50%. It did not contain any other proteins.
How I scored a 39 on a serum test is beyond me.

I adjusted my dose to 6iu to account for the concentration.

I've had no negative reactions. I am experiencing some stiffness in joints and have leaned out a bit.

Igf testing will tell us a bit more. Looking forward to it.
