Elevated (normal systolic is below 120), Though none of the medical guidelines would advise anything but lifestyle changes to bring it down. Cardio. less salt, weight loss.

If you can bring it down there are health benefits over the long haul.
I am 40 years old but I have been eating only clean food all my life, almost 30 thousand steps a day, and cardio every day. My problem at the moment is that I have ruined my blood counts. You can see I posted them 1 page ago .
the thing is that I cancelled telmisartan (80 mg) a few days ago. it seemed to me that in combination with high hematocrit, low estradiol, and telmisartan at the beginning of treatment for high blood pressure during the day gave me a slight dizziness. but I think to resume telmisartan 40 mg and only before bed

I also took a blood test again today. I'll have the results tomorrow. And I drank 1.5 liters of water. Unfortunately, my appointment was at 10:30am and I did cardio for almost an hour before. I hope the numbers will be low

FYI, for the first month after starting any BP med, fatigue, and sometimes a little dizziness are common. In simplest terms. the BP med relaxes blood vessels indiscriminately, so blood flow for the brain can be a bit too low (even when BP is not too low). The body compensates for this by constricting certain vessels back down to compensate and increase flow to the brain. But this takes a month or so to equalize.

That said, 40mg Telm will have a less noticeable side effect like that, and still provide 75% of the benefits of 80mg on lowering BP.

I always appreciate your knowledge. My respect for you.

Brewer needs 1-2 more days. We’re back at the lab though. Everything should be in stock on open. Just covering all our bases.
