B12

I was going to go vet grade but decided to go pharmacy grade and purchased 30ml for about $45 delivered... should arrive within a week or so.

I'm a fan of b12 - I've used it for a few months now. Was just curious so went for it. Never heard of anything bad from using it except for a rundown feeling after mega dosing for extended periods. Normally groggy in the morning but it hasn't been as bad since starting. Overall just more energy through the day... Not a ton of energy but I feel like I'm not dragging from the previous days lifting session. Sleep has been better. Endurance is better.

But from my understanding not everyone gets these kinds of benefits. You might already be able to absorb enough b12 in your diet to reap the benefits. I assume I am one of the small percentage that does not absorb it so well... My father has to get b12 injections so it may be a genetic kind of thing.

Man I am stoked about starting a b12 regime.
Odie convinced me, and suggested a good starting protocol.

I'd like to hear success stories as well as not so good experiences.
Ive recently been looking in to this as well. What sort of regimen are we talking about here? I gotta get more educated

I have been using b12 for a while now.

For me it's the energy and general good feeling from it. Not a rush type of energy. Just good energy, always in a good mood and rarely tired. Still sleep like a log on it aswel.

I would recommend it to anyone

My wife and I recently started. 500mcg twice a week. Got it from Rui during Fat Tuesday sale. Was gonna get from TRT doc but very expensiv and @Eman suggested that I try lower cost first just to see if I benefit before going expensive pharma route. (Thanks again @Eman for great suggestion) None of us got bloods showing deficit, but wife is vegetarian so she will most likely benefit more than me as I am meateater and milk drinker. So far we haven't felt any improvements but we are only 2 pins in.

Did you do a loading phase? I struggled to find good info on it but I came across some medical sites that suggested using 1000mcg for seven days and then using 1000mcg twice per week or so. This is how I did it and after like 4-5 days is when I felt the difference I'd say. I'm not saying this is the only way or the absolute correct way I'm just saying this is what I did and this is the result I got. @Big_poppa_Bren description of the kind of energy is pretty spot on too.

So would a guy only have results with injections if deficient, or are there any positives to having higher levels of b12 in the system?

I'm not sure, I am low and my doctor suggested otc supplements or weekly injections. Told her I cannot come in weekly is why she suggested oral otc.

From what I recall during my research, you would only get results if your deficient and you'll only be deficient if you do not absorb it well from your diet or oral supplements OR if you just don't have a diet with enough b12 in it.

As far as benefits to having higher b12 levels in your system - you can only absorb a certain amount. Injecting it ensures that you'll have your levels stay "topped off" so to speak. Anything in excess will be excreted in your urine.

Thanks for suggestion. No we didn't do loading phase, but will start tonight.

Taking vitamins without any deficiency would be like pissing in the wind, even harmful in the long run.
I used every supplement i could get, and from my experience I'd say even the benefit is mostly placebo.
Very very few work.
Just my opinion

If you eat alot of meat you usually dont need B12 supplementation (according to my Doc) My natural B12 level is constantly 200 points over normal . All the time . Get tested first before supplementing ....;)

Good info thanks,
I think the sublinguals would be sufficient for me.
