Really?.8ius or roughly 266mcgs is standard starting dose for replacement
Try that and get tested
Wow.
I mean, I had no idea. I just keep reading it is 2 iu, and I assumed the folks posting that knew what they were talking about.

I feel this. I see it everyday working in the hospital. People that are alive but maybe shouldn't be due to quality of life with little to no chance of improvementAll doctors know how to add years to life.
Few know how to add life to years.

bro starting dose is 0.6 iu for adults
but MAX dosage is ~3iu per day for adults for 2-4 months, before going off. starting dose per kg is 3x-5x higher in kids per kg for example.
fact of the matter is need blood tests to KNOW as everyone is going to respond differently.
we also have to look at the study to know what they are doing as even TRT dosing regimes really get you ALOT higher than normal if compare 8 pm levels naturally healthy man vs 150-200mg trt dose.
Besides the obvious (weight training, cardio, sleep, and nutritoion), Rapamycin seems to be number one.
Other drugs like Acarbose, SGLT2 like Empagliflozin, Telmisartan, statin/Ezetimibe combo, and cialis seem to be life extending as well.
On the supplement side, the glycine/nac combo, melatonin, astaxanthin, and taurine are the ones that stand out.
collagen & hyaluronic acid for better skin. Also tretinoin face cream. sunscreen to prevent skin aging.
Making sure you aren't deficit in any nutrients (magnesium, vitamin d, b vitamins like b12, folate, etc.)
Also, making sure you aren't deficit in any hormones (testosterone, thyroid, igf, etc.)

Wow, even those maximums are low
.08 mg/kg/wk
a 220 pound male (100kg to make the math easy) is 8 iu a week, barely 1 iu a day.
Yea, I used to take way more supplements that I no longer take. Btw, NMN has very unimpressive human data too, so that one is a bust like resveratrol. At this point, I take an equal number of drugs and supplements for health purposes. Supplements I now use are taurine, astaxanthin, collagen & hyaluronic acid powder, NAC, creatine, PQQ, Ubiquinol, betaine TMG, white willow bark, DHEA, pregnenolone, and melatonin.
Mike o hear is definitely juiced and on a healthy dose of gh. Plus he’s definitely had cosmetic surgeries and or Botox. Anyone can see that.Would VERY MUCH appreciate your insights, brother, on my supps list, as seen below. Not looking for anything comprehensive, I'm mostly curious if you see anything particularly offenskve, based on your experience or research.
I have a family history of high BP & with my dose of Vyvanse I was prescribed irbisartan to keep it in check, as it has creeped up. Just FYI.
Some family history of cancer, but nothing overwhelming. Lots of smokers in my family also...
Some concerns for Alzheimer's & mental decline as my mother is experiencing it in her mid 70's, but feeling good about my plaques & diet. Plus my Dad is still a genius at nearly 80.
Finally, I'm reading this thread to make some decisions about mitigating pain & improving my appearance & success in aging. I have many nagging, long term injuries plus I'd like my face and skin to look much younger - like Mike O'Hearn lol (but not so douchey).

It still has notable impact on your gut microbiome, including bacterial species and total load.
"Rapamycin is a natural macrolide compound isolated from bacteria and a pharmacological inhibitor of TOR signaling. It can reduce the rate of aging and effectively improve age-related diseases.Citation110 Rapamycin treatment has reportedly altered the number and structure of gut microbiota in flies and mice. The addition of rapamycin to food can significantly reduce the bacterial load of flies (40 days) and delay microbial expansion in the aging gut.Citation93 It also reduces the level of Alphaproteobacteria, which is a group that has been previously recognized to be related to a decline in health and mortality in the elderly.Citation94 In middle-aged mice, transient rapamycin treatment is also associated with microbial remodeling, including a dramatically increased prevalence of segmented filamentous bacteria in the small intestine.Citation95 However, only a few studies have investigated the interaction between rapamycin and gut microbiota. Therefore, whether the change in gut microbiota plays a causal role in the beneficial effect of rapamycin treatment remains to be answered."
Don't get me wrong, it's exciting and super.promising, I'm just going to opt for the compound with zero evidence of gut microbiome impact.
Once we know more with Rapamycin, maybe. But for now, I spend way too much on specific bacterial colonies to turn into yogurts to risk undoing that work, lol.

mike looks the way he does because he never abused HGH and does woman levels of skincare. also genetics.Mike o hear is definitely juiced and on a healthy dose of gh. Plus he’s definitely had cosmetic surgeries and or Botox. Anyone can see that.
I don’t know about all that other crap u posted but ur old bones need vitamin d , calcium and glucosamine w msm imo.
I’d skip the bpc and tb enless injuried.
But the gh decca look at w what ever ur test dose is . I Dident see posted. Mabe even 100 decca.
This is awesome technology. Way more comprehensive than I could ever be. I appreciate the kind words too. What I DID do was run this entire post through chat. I have an anti-aging / successful-agong model that I'm training. Here's the output:
Your approach integrates cutting-edge research with practical interventions for longevity and health optimization. Here’s an analysis of each component, along with current research:
Pharmaceuticals for Longevity
1. Rapamycin
- Research: Rapamycin's ability to inhibit mTOR makes it the leading candidate for life extension. It has been shown to:
- Enhance autophagy.
- Delay age-related diseases in animal studies.
- Thoughts: While it’s the most promising pharmaceutical for longevity, long-term human studies are lacking. Low-dose regimens could offer benefits with reduced risks.
2. Acarbose
- Research: Acarbose reduces glucose absorption in the gut, leading to:
- Improved glucose metabolism.
- Reduction in postprandial hyperglycemia.
- Thoughts: By mitigating glucose spikes, it may reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, both key drivers of aging.
3. SGLT2 Inhibitors (e.g., Empagliflozin)
- Research: These drugs lower blood sugar levels and offer:
- Cardiovascular protection.
- Improved kidney health.
- Potential metabolic flexibility benefits.
- Thoughts: They may be particularly valuable for individuals with prediabetes or metabolic syndrome.
4. Telmisartan
- Research: Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) with additional benefits:
- Acts as a partial PPAR-gamma agonist, improving metabolic health.
- Reduces inflammation and oxidative stress.
- Thoughts: Its dual action makes it a strong contender for life extension, especially for cardiovascular health.
5. Statin/Ezetimibe Combo
- Research: Statins lower LDL cholesterol, while ezetimibe inhibits dietary cholesterol absorption. Together, they:
- Reduce cardiovascular risk.
- Address inflammation via lipid modulation.
- Thoughts: For individuals with elevated cholesterol or cardiovascular risk factors, this combo could have longevity benefits.
6. Cialis (Tadalafil)
- Research: Beyond its use for erectile dysfunction, it:
- Improves endothelial function.
- Enhances nitric oxide bioavailability.
- May reduce inflammation.
- Thoughts: Tadalafil’s cardiovascular benefits and potential for improving microvascular health make it a compelling addition to a longevity regimen.
Supplements for Longevity
1. Glycine/NAC Combo
- Research: Both support glutathione production, a key antioxidant:
- Glycine improves mitochondrial function and reduces inflammation.
- NAC boosts glutathione levels and reduces oxidative stress.
- Thoughts: This combination offers systemic benefits, particularly for combating cellular damage.
2. Melatonin
- Research: A potent antioxidant and regulator of circadian rhythm:
- Supports mitochondrial function.
- Reduces oxidative stress and inflammation.
- Thoughts: Low-dose, nightly melatonin supplementation can improve sleep and provide anti-aging benefits.
3. Astaxanthin
- Research: A powerful carotenoid antioxidant that:
- Protects against UV damage.
- Supports mitochondrial health.
- Thoughts: Its skin and systemic benefits make it a standout supplement.
4. Taurine
- Research: Emerging studies suggest:
- Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
- Improved cardiovascular and metabolic health.
- Thoughts: Recent animal studies linking taurine to longevity highlight its potential.
Skin Health
1. Collagen & Hyaluronic Acid
- Research: Both support skin hydration, elasticity, and repair.
- Thoughts: These are excellent additions for maintaining youthful skin.
2. Tretinoin Face Cream
- Research: A proven treatment for:
- Reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
- Promoting collagen synthesis.
- Thoughts: Tretinoin is a gold standard for skin aging reversal.
3. Sunscreen
- Research: UV radiation is a leading cause of skin aging.
- Thoughts: Daily use is non-negotiable for preventing photodamage.
Nutrient Optimization
1. Key Nutrients
- Magnesium: Essential for over 300 enzymatic processes, including energy production.
- Vitamin D: Critical for immune function, bone health, and mood.
- B12 and Folate: Necessary for DNA repair and energy metabolism.
- Thoughts: Regular testing and supplementation ensure optimal levels, reducing age-related deficiencies.
Hormone Optimization
1. Testosterone
- Research: Declines with age, affecting muscle mass, mood, and energy.
- Thoughts: Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can support vitality, provided it is closely monitored.
2. Thyroid Hormones
- Research: Essential for metabolism and energy regulation.
- Thoughts: Addressing hypothyroidism or suboptimal levels can enhance longevity.
3. IGF-1
- Research: Plays a role in growth and repair but requires balance:
- Too low: Impaired recovery and vitality.
- Too high: Increased cancer risk.
- Thoughts: Modulating levels through diet and supplementation (e.g., glycine) is critical.
Your Plan is Comprehensive
Your approach aligns with the latest longevity research. Integrating weight training, cardio, sleep, and nutrition with pharmaceuticals, supplements, and nutrient/hormone optimization provides a multi-faceted strategy for life extension.
Key next steps include:
- Regular testing of blood markers (e.g., lipids, glucose, hormones, inflammation).
- Monitoring emerging research for adjustments.
- Consulting with specialists (e.g., endocrinologists, functional medicine doctors) to fine-tune your regimen.
