I agree with deadwood.This thread is exactly why this forum was gone for so long. The drama is not worth it. This reminds me of have multiple arguments i had with Ronald way but in 2003. And you know what 9 years later nothing has changed but the names of the players. Grow up and contibute to the community or just read the posts of the good bros who do contibute and just maybe you guys might learn something. I can promise you this for sure thread is going nowhere, and the agrument will never be settled.

What you said in the earlier post was spot on but to just accept scammers being here and posting was about the last thing I expected from a long time vet like you. And yes, this board is definitely different. It's a great big kiddy board and these will be my last few stops here. This place used to mean something to me but now it's a big joke. I'm finally seeing why the vets that were here when I was new to the board won't come around.

All I can say is I haven't heard of any and I can't disprove that you have. So I will leave it at that.
What I will say though is anyone who has just talks to much. What we do is not legal and should be remembered and treated as such in our day to day postings. That's what we should be teaching and not letting scammers with multiple user names feel safe on this board because that's what it does.
I really find that hard to believe. I think you just want to boost member activity and use this as a scare tactic. Not using multiple log ins is tried and true. Either that or you have much to learn about board and member safety.

No there are not scammers on every other board using multiple identities. The boards that I frequent have detectors for that.
I gotta say bro this is the worst shape I've seen any board in. Taking a blind eye to everything in the name of board growth. Like letting scammers advertise and sponsor here. I understand you have put much into this place for educational purposes but taking money to build it from scammer sources like WP and buysteroids.com makes you a scammer by association. You take money from scammers to build a board only to have the members ripped off.
To you that is an even trade. Let members be taken all for the mighty $$.

ive used the name bigkarch since 1999...and I'm very well versed in the judicial system...I really dont think using a few different monikers on the boards are really gonna make or break a criminal case or prevent anyone from being busted..I have however been threatened by an exwife that she was going to give my screen name to my employer and said that I was involved in criminal activity and steroids...if you google bigkarch a crap load of info comes up....now, If I was selling aas or scamming, sure I would use a different name...there are several boards that have a forum just for members that have multiple identities...what questions us vets is, why?.....red flags immediately come up....but there are valid reasons, such as security...understandable..

You're dismissing my concern for privacy as a "scare tactic" to boost member activity? You can do better than that.
And I think you have quite a bit to learn about member privacy and how that strongly relates to member safety. Safety from prying eyes that seek to monitor their commercial activity. Safety from being held captive by sources who know too much about their online identity.
Anyone who attempts to scam a member here is instantly banned. When the evidence of alleged scamming isn't readily apparent, I am content to allow the collaborative moderation by MESO members determine the reputation of such individuals.
This distrastrous state of affairs that you describe at MESO is one in which astute members have identified, exposed and annihilated the reputation of anyone suspected of being a scammer, fake poster or anonymous source rep.
It's quite refreshing to see how effective collaborative moderation can be without authoritarian admins and mods telling everyone what to think.
Don't underestimate MESO members. They are smart enough to figure it out without having big brother protect them.
You don't really believe those "detectors" are effective, do you? I suppose you'll tell me pirated dvds can't be download via bittorrent anymore as well.
Why wouldn't it stay up? Is that how it's handled at other boards that you speak so highly of?
I sell advertising on this site. But unlike other sites, I have never sold my endorsement. If you want to hold publishers accountable for the actions of their advertisers, I can't stop you. Just be consistent about it when discussing other publishers.
If any member has a bad transaction with any advertiser, I have always welcomed and encouraged them to share their experience publicly on this forum.
People who come to MESO to read, learn and participate are well-informed consumers. Don't underestimate them.
The effective use of multiple identities to protect privacy is much more than using multiple screen names. There is a fair amount of info on the internet by privacy advocates on this topic.
I agree that multiple identities raises "red flags" and justifiably so. But thanks for acknowledging that there are valid reasons for doing so.
The great irony is that everyone chiming in on the issue except for me is using a secondary identity.
BigKarch, HDH are certainly not your "real" identities. You simply use an anonymous identity for an additional layer of privacy.

but really, how much are we really protected by using secondary id's and/or multiple board names....a thin layer yes...and why do we use them? Each person can be different...buying/purchasing AAS, privacy because of steroid talk, sourcing, board owners. Milliard using a secondary Identity would be different being a board owner than if he went to outlaw/elite/steroid.com etc and registered under millyd...(fake name btw). If milliard wanted to source, then he wouldnt use milliard, but mikemill, (made up)... all in all, are we really secure....but then by now, as late as it is, I'm really not sure what we are talking about again, this went from scammer under hulk to secondary Id's, security and apples/oranges.
obviously bigkarch isnt my identity, and I would not want anyone in my line of occupation to know what I do or say here, nor that I use AAS. So, if bigkarch is my screen name and I use this as my legal mod/vet id, but then want to buy aas, should I use another identity for the purchases and illegal activity on the boards???? Is this what you are talking about milliard.
And if so, does that create another layer of security?

imho anyone who is dumb enough to send money to some unknown identity on a forum deserves scammed. 90% of us are hear to share knowledge so those who want to buy should also join one of those type boards and join the bitching that goes on there
