Body cupping, legit therapy or nonsense?

I've never had this done, but it comes off like an absolute crock of shit to me. Anyone do it and find it helps them?

Draws the blood to the surface of tissues. Gets things moving. My physio throws it into his therapies once and a while. He usually uses it where i get re-occurring cramping; calves.

Nonsense IMO. Doesn't do shit but leave round red marks.

And what are the red marks? Blood (fluid) being drawn to the surface to add nutrients, o2, etc. Fights inflammation. The Chinese have been doing it for centuries..... must be bunk if a couple meat heads say it is.

There's plenty of studies that say heat modalities and massage do what u are claiming. There is none to support cupping.

Cupping, bloodletting, etc. lots of stuff the Chinese have been doing for centuries. I wouldn't personally accept or reject a treatment based on Chinese history. I just didn't find any evidence that it works. The one time it was done to me (during a chiropractor visit while traveling) it was ineffective - obviously ineffective, and I felt foolish for letting her do it to me.
