Weightlifters have become the focus of my own lil study about squats, I am planning on going all in olympic squats, here is an example of their pound for pound superiority compared with powerlifters, even in light categories of powerlifting wilks (or spelling?) is not as high as on this lil guy, and he does high bar (oly)
I like to switch it up, I can lift more with a powerlifting squat but I love the depth I get with olympic. They both have advantages for my personal goals. Ive been debating on getting some shoes solely for olympic squats but theyre pretty damn exspensive.
In using Adidas powerlift 2.0 which is not the best but pretty good for the price. 80-90$ at dicks sporting goods online. When I have the money I'll be buying either Adidas Adipowers or Ristos

That shorter ROM makes you guys able to push more weight no doubt lol. There's envy in both directions when it comes to height, I assure you.Dont mess with us lil guys , our power-to-height/weight ratio is superior ...lol
