Bodybuilding 90´s vs today

On the territory of the Post-Soviet countries, you can still hear stories about the 90s. How they used a couple of methane pills and grew frantically. If you talk to an old guy like that, he'll spend the whole workout talking about how it used to be good, but now everyone's lazy.
I also read articles-interviews of the guys of that period. There was also such a drug retabolil. As far as I understand, the active ingredient is Nandrolone decanoate. Only she was sold in a pharmacy and they say some kind of wonderfully worked. I do not vouch for the accuracy of the data.

I wanna like your comment, but I feel like I'm being mocked. Regardless, the ARG was the best, if not only, true source of info back then when I was a kid. Actually kept me off gear until I plateued after 10 years of hard work.
I did a lot of searching for information. There are not a lot of sources with really good advice in the Russian segment. There are also a lot of people who are embarrassed to talk about steroids. And when I see such books, where someone openly writes numbers. It's very cool. Many of us are still in the stone age. relying on the subjective opinion of those around us. There are opinions that you can't mix boldenone and nandrolone. After progestogenic drugs can be used tamoxifen, belief in the miraculous effect of growth hormone up to the restoration of the ligaments, oral drugs solo, courses stanozolol + turinabol for 12 weeks. All in this vein. There are of course experienced guys, but for some reason, it seems to me that there is not such a large number of them. I by no means meant to offend you in any way, or maybe you thought I was laughing at you.

Yes. Different stories, fairy tales. You could have broken a barbell with one ampoule. And there were courses of nandrolone + methane. Nobody even thought to do post-course therapy, to use aromatase inhibitors, gynecomastia-what is this?

All good brother, just a language barrier is all. Like when you text your girlfriend and she takes it wrong because she cannot hear how it's being said, same thing. Plus the politeness threw me away off, I live in the US and a large number of the population are rude, self entitled assholes lol. cheers brother!

A lot of things before were not of sound mind. There was little information, there were practically no specialists. Everything was empirical, someone succeeded, he taught the other. But how correctly he taught the wrong things.

In my study of the forum, the opposite seems to be true. People are more sociable and adequate. I remember once keeping a diary on a Russian-language forum. It was total harshness there. One person even found my parents' social networks and wrote to them that I will not succeed, your son is a loser for choosing sports

One of the reasons why there are so many stereotypes today. But strength is in knowledge. Thanks to science books, you can learn a lot about sports and not make mistakes

It used to be so practice, practice and personal experience. Now there is an opportunity to read the theory, take a consultation from a specialist, communicate with strong athletes and have already received the data and analyzed them - to apply or not.

I was told by guys who worked in Russia. That Russian guys do not perceive someone else's success well, instead of being happy for a person and supporting them, they begin to say all sorts of nasty things in his direction and humiliate him in every possible way. Is this correct or is this a bug?

The main thing is not to feel sorry for anything. Very often useful things are paid for. Elementary - good scientific literature, which is more refined. Tests, and look not only at blood and organs, vessels. About specialist coaches, sometimes even a must-have. Even if you're at a good level, you need an outside view.

I won't say everything. However, there is a point to which team or campaign you get on. But for sure what you have heard is true. The mentality is such that everyone knows in all aspects of what to do. However, they do not get to do it in life. When I started squatting and lifting almost 200 kg, they kicked me out of the gym. Because the clients wanted to train with me, I told them that I was training. The local trainers could not tolerate it. When I was in my first bodybuilding training, I didn't perform in it at all. I was supported by my sponsor, giving me drugs. They started spreading bad rumors about me in the gym. And there is also a very strange situation, the rivalry between the teams to the point that they do not say hello and do not communicate. And if your acquaintances are in the judiciary, they will try to sue you. I personally made one video at a WRPF competition, where the organization and judging were terrible. I told the organization to change something. They sent me away. I wrote to my friend bloggers in Russia, they helped me spread the video, it got 300,000 views. After that video, I was disqualified. I have never competed in powerlifting, but I have already been disqualified. Let me give you another example. Shivlyakov complained about Makarov when there were competitions on strongmen. That Makarov doesn't have Russian citizenship, he's Ukrainian. And he had problems at the competitions. I won't say that everyone is like that. But there's some kind of envy. I made a school for coaches with my friends now. Many who are simple coaches, still say something about me. And when you look them in the eye, they say: brother, I did not say that it's a lie, you're good. That's partly why I want to leave here, now I'm saving my money and I'm studying your sports mentality thanks to the forum.

In general, investing in yourself, in health is an important element of human development. Again, taking a coach and someone who will monitor your health is also an investment that will pay off with the result and increase the efficiency of work.

I honestly read and wonder why people have so much anger and envy. After all, you are doing one thing, it is easier to do business together and everything will be better from this. After all, envy and malice slow down the overall progress. I don't understand why, I don't understand.

I always like Tom Platz. What a fanatic he was and how hard he trained in the gym. And how he trained his legs - this can already be said to be legendary training. Of course, Tom had a very great willpower and character. I think he was a fanatic and get high from such gravity. A kind of addiction. After all, it is true that everyone has their own drug.

After talking with some pros and coaches i conclude that today they use less anabolics like test , dbol deca but use much more HGH and Insulin

I see protocols of some pros using maximum 1.5gr or 2gr gear week but at same time using 30ius Meditrope HGH or Pharmacom with bug dosages lantus + humalog .

Thats why they look more round and full today but less striated . But coaches tell that is more healthy to keep anabolics low and use more hgh and slin .

Easy to understand why they are so big today

Good Post!! Refreshing to see someone NOT harping on about the golden era and how great it was. I enjoy the ever evolving look of the sport, I wanna see the guy's who you think 'F*** me!!! as soon as you see their size. To me its always been about thick physiques and the shock when you see them getting even bigger that they were last year. There are tonnes more guys on the stage that are Strong as hell now too with many matching top level powerlifters in their lifts, that earns a lot more respect from me than just show boaters Lol
