Lmao damn man that's a lot of bread! I like to make a PB&J with the homemade sourdough, natural peanut butter (I get the Santa Cruz kind- the real PB not the ,
"Spread", and the St Dalfour French fruit spread (especially the peach, apricot, orange and ginger, fig, and strawberry). Honestly they are so fucking delicious. It's REAL preserves chock-full of fruit chunks. That makes for such a delicious pre- workout meal. Really though that homemade bread and the quality of PB &, J makes ALL the difference!!! You will never look at jif or smuckers the same way again (smuckers does have fine good organic natural PB but it's expensive).

Bon appétit!!!

Yes that does sounds delicious, have to look into making homeade bread. As it is so much better

Hell yeah man! Always love sharing some good recipes. I have a few more I may need to post around here. We have quite a few originals that I know people would enjoy ;)
That sounds cool, but when you publish it, I'll happily try to cook it. I love food, I love food, and food loves me :)

I came in on time, I sit and write. I’m waiting for the stove to be brought in so that the wife starts trying and experimenting. I really want to try it.

What's your opinion of low GI alternatives? Is a diet completely based around them inferior to one with higher GI cards (i.e pre and post workout perhaps)?

I'm sure some people prefer high GI carbs, but if there is a whole wheat version or low GI alternative (barley or lentils for example VS white rice) I usually go with that. Anything that has to be "enriched"... looking at you white bread, to match the vitamins and minerals of the same food or some minor alternative isn't worth it IMO.
I dislike the “hi Gi” vs “low Gi” thing. It’s nearly irrelevant accompanied in a meal wirh protein and fats. This doesnt mean pound sugar, but it also isn’t really the enemy.

White rice, potatoes, bagels, rice or other cereals, sweet potato, whatever. Most people will find breads don’t digest super well though. Which is fine for most folks. But if the name of the game is pounding food, bread tends to not be great.

The raisin bread is legit as fuck but supply chains have put a dent on getting it lately
I see it all the time. Its crazy how the shelves will be empty here lately but they always have my Daves in stock. It must be a well kept secret around here and im not telling anybody!

I do love some bread but…. Sometimes if im burnt out on the typical carbs i would rather have a huge plate of homemade spaghetti with a lb of ground buffalo in vodka sauce.

Homemade spaghetti is really easy to make and blows store bought spaghetti away. Its one of those things if you ever try it your ruined, so be cautious!

I think the demonization of the high glycemic index, as well as harmful products, is the media. After all, as a result, people have right and wrong carbohydrates in their heads. Type there are products with a negative calorie content and other myths. And as a result, people have a mess in their heads and there is no understanding of how it really is.

Yes, everything is homemade, be it spaghetti, pasta or bread and other products. The taste never compares to store-bought products. It is very dangerous to cook delicious food at home because there is a big risk of eating everything at once.

Im even to the point if i go out i won’t eat a steak because i cook it better than 99% of the restaurants. I try and order something i don’t normally eat or buy to try it.

I'm the same way. The only exception is sushi and Thai food. I can't make really good rolls and curries but they just don't turn out quite like I want...

By the way, yes, usually, too, if I try something delicious in restaurants, we try to cook at home and more often - it's tastier than in restaurants.

I like the Chinese, Thais in such paper bags. There are all kinds of noodles and vegetables and meat. Very tasty and straight different and very specific taste. But the main thing is to be very sharp. And then you feel like a fire-breathing dragon.
