Brewly - Worldwide Marketplace

This seems like an urban legend (?)

I see it written all over the place, but never direct accounts of it happening. Has this happened to anyone here on Meso?
i've read accounts of the opposite. Pack got seized, but the next one got through.

Maybe if you're a repeat offender? i could see something like that happening.

What is this convo even bout

i can't find the original page for that original comment lmao

Here with an update: We've added user-functionality to use our PGP key to encrypt orders with vendors(if vendor has applicable PGP key as well).

This isn't the safest thing to do - but its a step towards the right direction for encryption. We always recommend to use your very own pgp key.

Brewly v1.2 updates:

Optimized cache calling
minimum order summary added to emails for customers
fixed pagination, order duplication errors
product placement on website
added unit testing for all functions
added analytics tracking
upgraded to laravel 8
updated collection style, variables, loops, to rfc + style guide

this update is mostly backend work than anything, fixing a lot of bugs previously unfound that slowed the website down considerably. with all these updates pushed to live today, we're seeing our analytic metrics show a 36% speed increase in loading the site and its content.

This update also enhances Brewly's security through updating most of the codebase to laravel 8, which is a huge feat as it broke nothing. This allows for further encryption to be enjoyed by vendors and customers alike.

We're also planning in the future update to completely change the way products are viewed. Currently, its in a single row listing.

I personally don't know why exactly, but I get this nauseating feeling while looking at that single row. It can be a hassle to sort through sometimes(if you don't filter) and it generally just doesn't help very much guide you toward new products.

I personally think an etsy, amazon type (4 products each row) listing would do us better. Have to test this internally.

Hi everyone - wanted to get some feedback on a couple things we were wondering about.

First, how products are displayed. Our manner of displaying products is your typical list, but we were thinking an Amazon style, 3 products per row may be better.

What yall think?

Also, altcoin functionality. Ethereum first, or XMR, or what ya'll use the most second to BTC?

Are you stocking products or are you a dropshipping service? For example Colonial is not shipping anything till 3/21 from what their website says, so will you wait to ship on that date or ship it because you have stock?

We're a marketplace. Any vendor approved is allowed to list their products there. Think of it as eBay.

Not sure what Colonial's exact plans are atm

Trying this again huh…maybe you can get ding dong sigma to sign up….maybe this will work on the new and improved ultra friendly, tell me your innermost thoughts feelz and bonerz meso
I'm insecure about business partners ever since this venture

Oh i said that outloud

Aye yeah. Big ding dongs are harder to get on board since they are less likely to expand, or even consider expanding. One of our big selling points is if you don't have a website, Brewly can act as your storefront. But most of these sigma sources already have sites. Gotta start at the bottom!

Always have been Brewly/Dash/Dragon

You do realize that's against the rules and can get all three usernames banned, right?

There's a good chance MB will see your admission of guilt here. If that happens, i want to say i've enjoyed riding your ass (no homo) these many years. No hard feelings and good luck to you.

Was under the impression it was alright - I've spoken to the mod team on numerous occasions with it obviously being one parent company. It's in Dash's and Brewly's opening post too

Interesting. i guess it would help if we had a rules sticky in the UG thread, but that was removed for revision some time ago.

Maybe that's one of the changes? It used to be that using multiple usernames outside of leaving anonymous reviews by members was prohibited.
