The spectre of British superiority has emerged as the British Olympic Association attempts to justify its violation of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) rules. It apparently doesn’t matter if the British break the rules agreed upon by the international community. The BOA believes their rules are all that matters. i hate to say it. i cant completley disagree. the last paragragh makes sense. if performance enhancing drug use is to be respected for what it is, performance enhancing drug use, nothing more, nothing less, then not using should should be held in the same regard. not blatant cheating. and ped use if done right should have some lasting effects. but what is all this for. sports and the olympics. why try to hold up wada or its code at all. my personal disdain for wada and the anti doping movement has to with its insistence than performance enhancing drugs and their use are somehow moraly wrong and/or criminal. for everyone. unless the drugs are medicine. and used with a therapuetic use exemption. how can that be. Athlete Zone how can you be 100% you with a tue. its a total contradiction. and that the wada code is creeping into my everyday life. and trying to force sports integrity or integrity in general cant be done through urinalysis or blood test. if clean athletes want to compete against one another so be it. by the same token if athletes want to use drugs to push bounderies and break records then let them. oh. except for the fact that most its illegal. and part of what wada to trying to do is make it into laws that everyone has to follow. thats my problem.

"..law-enforcement agencies-not wada-were responsible for breaking up the major doping rings and prosecuting cases such as the balco scandal."
