Brutus79 And Johnnyballz Cycle Log

So Friday was heavy arms 21 sets each bis/tris and 36min cardio.. Yesterday was off and I'm going to get cardio and abs in here a little later today..

Yesterday was my last shot.. :( Fucking sucks.. I was going to stay on the EQ for a few more weeks but I really don't see the point. Better off letting all this shit clear out so I can have an effective cycle again in a couple months..

I'll be running 150mg test/week and continuing with 4iu seros/day though I'm considering bumping to 6iu after New Years.. I'll also run albuterol again for three weeks when I start this cut in January..

Great cycle, can't wait to do it again!! Should we keep this log going @brutus79 ?

I'm down brother. The next 8 weeks I am going to start playing with my diet so I can eat clean and cheap without wanting to kill myself next bulk.

Since we are switching to powerlifting in 2015 we can start a new log for that after next blast... I want to do another pure bodybuilding gvt/fst7 cycle. I loved it. I was thinking some sort of 5x5 program or 12, 10, 8, 6 pyramid workout for the cruise to start in a week or two. Pyramids sound best... and the fst7 kicker is the bomb no matter what.

You like how I slipped in the powerlifting assumption buddy? Always assume the sale!

Hahaha.. I will power lift but I will not be calling myself a power lifter.. :)
 
Slingshot is a tool that allows you to overload the middle and top portions of the bench. If you are weak in either or both of those spots it may be useful, if you are weak off the chest it won't likely be of much benefit.

I wouldn't recommend using the slingshot without a spotter even in a rack. The slingshot can get you out of your groove and when your handling at or above your normal bench max this can lead to trouble quickly.

Doesn't mark bell promote that ? I've been curious about it.
 
I've really enjoyed reading and keeping up with your guys log. Very well done and informative. I will be looking forward to reading the next log.

@brutus79 you guys doing the 5x5 yet? I ran that routine for a few months last year. I've been doing powerlifting for about 8 years now. Wanted to know what you thought of the 5x5.
We ended up doing a standard 12, 10, 8, 6 pyramid program I am not too fond of. I was advised to not do the 5x5 by a buddy of mine pillarofbalance who is on a few other boards and instead recommended a 531 wbb type progressive when I switch to powerlifting.

Yeah, To be honest I didn't like the 5x5 routine. I didn't see any real strength gains and it was hard on my joints.

I do a similar pyramid program, but I rotate from a Heavy volume pyramid workout then the next week more of a Heavy 1 RM type work out. Seems to be working so far.
