Buchner filter setup

Anyone here use a Buchner filter setup?

Looking to get one, was wondering if anyone here uses one

They are really good as long as you are confidwnt in your ability to not only stetalize the glassware but also the filter membranes unless you get sterile membranes

I read on another board that a guy was getting them individually boxed sterile already but can’t find those anywhere, anyone know where to get them?

Millapore sells them individually sealed you just have to make sure its the correct membrane size and that its .22

There was a seller on ebay although I dont know if they are stilll there or not. If not I would also try amazon

IMO don't

besides membranes not being sterile,
some oil can leak beneath the membrane
completely bypassing filtration without you even realizing it.

You must be talking about some pretty shitty setup. I had one and loved it never had an issue with any leaks
