Naimova banned for 2 years for doping offense

[SIZE=-1]Bulgarian sprinter Tezdjan Naimova received a two-year suspension Tuesday for a doping offense.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Naimova won the 100- and 200-meter races at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Beijing.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]The Bulgarian Athletics Federation imposed the ban and said the 21-year-old runner admitted manipulating a doping test. The suspension was backdated to Sept. 30.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]Several Bulgarian athletes have been caught doping in the past two years. The list includes runners Vanya Stambolova, Teodora Kolarova and Daniela Yordanova, high jumper Venelina Veneva and hammer thrower Andrian Andreev.[/SIZE]
