If u are lifting hard than u will be able to eat everything in sight w/o turning into a fat ass. How many cal's do u currently consume?

you are joking right? . If 1500 keeps you at 215 pounds than i would say your metabolism is very slow. I find this pretty hard to believe if u r even somewhat active and lifting hard. If you r trying to bulk start out doubling your cal's to 3k/day and go from there. give this a month and c where u r at.

1500 calories and youre bulking??!!! 1500 calories is even too low for dieting levels.

At 215 you should be taking in about 16-20 calories per pound of bodyweight, or about 3500-4200 calories.

yeah my strength level keeps increasing but my bulking does not....at 1500-2000 calories a day its added 15 pounds so far, but from what everyones saying a good 3-4 thousand calories a day....wow, i should be fucking huge by the time im done, now i gota start concentrating on eating a lot more, lifting will now be the easier part, lol. Anyhow, thanks a lot for your input, its deffinately appreciated. Thanks

dieting levels.....calories>??

during dieting and cutting, what would be considered a good and healthy amount of calories to consume per day.?

Dude, how are you figuring your calorie intake? Theres no way in hell you added 15 pounds while only eating 1500-2k calories a day. Somewhere you are missing about 2500 cals/day.

hey man

i weigh 165....and im bringing in over 5k calories, 250+ grams of protein a day, for your weight, id say over 6 or 7k calories, workout hard, dedicate a solid month, you'll get crazy results....:D....

i think my eat anything probably is being taken out of context. there are obviously things he should not eat. i expect him to know that. my point is not to worry about cal's. eat as much as possible. like bs said, u r missing some cal's if u added that much weight w/1500-2k cals. no way. as for the 5-7k cals. everyone is different. right now that is too many for u imo

Something in the math is a little screwy here. You are gaining weight at 215 consuming around 2000 calories? When I diet NATURALLY and I'm down to 215, I am still taking in close to if not slightly over 3k.

With your height/weight bulking should be at least 3500/day...of GOOD calories. (Anybody can crack 3500 calories on big macs and whoppers. Don't go that route if you don;t want to get fat.)

Good luck man!!

#1, you're already eating 3500-4500 calories per day, you don't understand gm/cal conversion or something. You cannot gain 15 lbs on 1500 cal per day unless you're from Jupiter.

#2, I've eat like shit (steaks, spuds with a little butter, boxes of cereal at a time, sub sandwiches, hamburgers, spaghetti loaded with sauce, etc) when I bulk, but because my workouts are so intense and long I burn a SHITLOAD of cals so I don't really see it. Now, I am not suggesting to eat snickers, cake and pie but you can get away with a little dirty food - that's why bulking is the fun diet right?

i agree, even i eat more than that a day and i still only weigh about 2 stone

LOL, the bulking bread and water diet... Shoot for 4,500 calories my friend with at least 300 g of protein.
