bros, to make a long story short i got popped with some syringes and clomid. NO anabolics. i was booked and released. i have to appear in court next month. the cop told me i will likely get probation and a fine. do i need a lawyer? what should i do? im in california by the way. thanks

Guys, also remember that possession of syringes in CA is a no-no without a script. Not like most other states in that regard.

I'm not a 100% sure but I believe that Clomid is a schedule III or IV controled substance (unless it's in liquid form labeled for research purposes..and that's kind of a grey area still.. but a good lawyer could beat it) The syringes in conjunction with a controled substance my constitute possesion of Drug Paraphenalia... I would get a lawyer and see if you can deal this down to some peddly misdemeanor charge.. that you can get taken off your record later.. (Which I don't think would be too difficult)

If a package is in your house, its yours. Rick Collins talks at length about this in his book Legal Muscle. Writing "return to sender" or such things on a package really does nothing other than waste ink.bigcaboi said:

if this is the case cali is a joke, hell, here they pass out syringes to avoid reuse and passing on of disease. In canada it's not against the law to have drugs without a perscription, which is sweet.
I would find a local needle exchange program and go sign up. They will issue you a card; this will give you permission to carry syringes. Before they legalized syringes in my state this is what I did. This should get the syringe charge dismissed. If you get a good lawyer you should ask for a "ONE YEAR NOT GUILTY FILING". This means if you dont have any contact with police for one year the charge is dismissed. Just like you were found not guilty. I have done it twice. Once with a disorderly conduct charge and again with a bullshit domestic charge.
