Calories/macros requirements calculator

Hello,

Is there any reliable calculator for macros based on your stats?

I realized you need to do some accounting for cutting.

Thanks

That calc seemed very light on the cals 2600 cals for cutting at 250lbs? 3200 and I drop weight like crazy. Used a diff calc last time.

Huh that's nutz cause it has me at 2500 calories to cut and I'm 185lbs. Not going to try it though lol. I'm trying to get past the 200lbs mark before cutting again. Which Calc did you use before? Wanna see what it has for my stats and compare the two.

I see you guys referencing calculators WAY too much.

If you’ve been eating what you currently are and the scale and mirror aren’t changing THAT is your maintenance. To drop fat, ~500 cal deficit from food and cardio combined from THAT maintenance caloric intake. When things stall, generate another 500 cals deficit of food and cardio.

I agree with you. I only used that one as a starting point in the past. My last bulk cycle I had to increase my calorie intake by just over a 1000 calories to get the scale to move. After a couple weeks of increase it was a steady 2lbs gained a week.

What I have always done is just use a tdee calculator to get baseline. Then plug in the macros that fit that. Eat that way for a bit to see what happens. Adjust accordingly based on my goals.

Im.older too.

Too many variables to rely on a calculator. Track what you eat and adjust. You'll begin to intuitively know where you should be at. It's like the whole RDA allowances that try to cast a wide net yet are hardly accurate for anyone anymore.

I agree with this , I am bit older than you guys and those calculators doesn't work for me .
