Calvare2's Log (Naps+Astro)

Went to the gym after I got home from school. Took my regular preworkout and headed for the gym. Got another PR today, 540lbsx2 on the deadlift :D probably could have added 5 more pounds or another rep because it wasn't insanely heavy.

Update-
I had injure my chest area a month ago on the squat and it seemed that it was almost healed a week ago but injured it again going heavy ( love going heavy), probably should have waited for it to heal. Now I will let it heal the right way and wait a while before I go heavy on the squat again.

Be careful. Hopefully it heals soon! Good luck with your cycle.

Yeah, I'm going to take it easy on the squats. I' m going to go for reps now if it doesn't hurt when I squat or will replace it with the leg press until it heals.

I just hurt my upper/mid back squatting a 2 weeks ago, I still get like a burning pain near my back ribs. It healed pretty quick and I went back to the same weight within those 2 weeks surprisingly. It hurt like hell for 3 or 4 days I took some 5 mg oxycodone which really helped get me through some workouts and my job. I kept getting spasms that kept me hunched over when I got out of bed in the morning. Went to chiropractor he said I popped a rib out or some shit. Maybe that's what you did, it can happen in the front or back, any where the rib cage is located apparently. Look into Rib Subluxation.

Damn biggun!!!

Nice wait until you knee deep in this cycle that's when the magic happens.

Today was a mixed day, on one hand I flunked a physics midterm exam and on the other I finally got my bio gear [:o)]. As I was heading out to go to the gym the mail man came with a small box (one that I have seen many times in my dreams) and put a smile of my face :D, it was my bio gear. It has been a rough start with bio, but he made up for it in more than one way (he added var and masteron to my order).

Update-
Today as I was preparing to go to the gym I wasn't feeling that good, but my preworkout changed that. Instead of taking my regular 20mgs of D-bol I decided to try halo, I took 20mgs. Today was a leg workout and guess what, I broke another PR 555lbsx2 on the deadlift. The first rep was pretty hard I'm not going to lie, but decided to go for a second rep and got it.

With dl if you get the first one you can get at least one more.
The first rep is actually the hardest one because thers is no negative pre-tension like there is with almost every other lift.

This is why some argue that it may even be a better example of strength then the squat.

Wait a minute....free var and mast?!?!!!

I hardly never post on here but read and keep up everyday with this board and I have to agree 100% that
With a little rough start with my order bio deff makes things right. He actually knows how to run a business!

LOL, something crazy happened to me yesterday while at the gym. I started by deadliftng then switched then switched to squats like I normally do and progressed up to 450lbs. As I was going down I noticed I wasn't coming back up and dropped the weight. This had never happened to me before with a weight that was suppose to be easy, as a result I think it was the dealift (had never pushed myself so hard in the deadlift) that caused this. The deadlift sure did a number on my CNS and what would be considered easy turned into impossible.

I did the same exact thing and hurt myself, but I deadlifted 2 days before I squatted, I sumo deadlift btw b/c I have prior lower back injury. Anyway I was going for 5 reps and on 2nd I felt like I got stuck at the bottom, but my dumbass forces the 3rd rep using mostly my back and then I felt something pull in my upper/mid back. I think it is overuse of the hams. How much do you weigh? You pull a lot of weight for your age, you should get into powerlifting :D. Don't be like me though and overdo it with the deadlifts, you will regret it if you hurt your lower back, I hurt mine last year during a warm up (had been doing a lot of lower back and deadlifts), was laid off the weights for 3 months and I still have back problems. The slightest thing agitates my back and I have no spinal damage. I still make progress on my deadlift and squat but my back just feels jacked and sometimes I feel like I am walking on a slant afterwards.
