That’s exactly it.That is just not the case at all. What is usually meant is that the vast majority of those who die infected with Covid have one or more "co-morbidities" that increase the chances of death. For example, the two biggest are obesity and diabetes. That does not mean it was a "lie," but just that certain persons are more likely to die due to health conditions that make the the virus deadlier for them.
If someone with co-morbidities dies after being infected with COVID, it’s COVID that killed them. Yes, they had additional risk factors that increased their chances of dying, absolutely. But COVID is still the legitimate cause of death.
They otherwise would not have died, so it’s disingenuous to try to gloss over such deaths as “fake.” The fact that a disease kills fat, unhealthy and old people at a disproportionate rate should surprise exactly nobody.
