A 26-year-old Edmonton man is facing drug trafficking charges after Canadian border guards seized a package of steroids shipped from Hong Kong.

On March 21, the RCMP and Canada Border Services Agency started a joint investigation into illegal importation, police said.

A package containing 420 grams of anabolic steroids, a mini steroid lab, a pill press, digital scales, a small quantity of unknown pills and approximately two ounces of unknown white powder was seized Monday.

Investigators declined to provide any details on where or how the package was intercepted.

"We don't want to let the bad guys know what we're doing," said RCMP Sgt. Jack Poitras.

The man is facing numerous charges including production, possession for the purpose of trafficking and importation of a controlled substance.

He's due to appear in Edmonton provincial court on April 20.

That's a guy from Reddit, Alliance it looks like

Look at his set up and the one seized.

I am starting to think that LE has MODS on Reddit SST, and they are just smashing labs left and right.

Lol wow I just asked about alliance last week. They were fucken aggressive, had a website and everything. He made a post saying he was out of stock on some items because the raws were delayed.... I guess we know why they were delayed. This sounds like a war on gear.... Stock up now boys

In the first article it sounds like everything they found was in the one package they seized. Poor guys gonna be doing some hard time because of a lazy ass source.

This is Canada first offence they'll have do community service.

So he really ordered all of that... in one package...from Hong Kong. What did he expect was gonna happen? I highly doubt they were going after AAS in this case, they likely suspected it was something far more illicit.

If this is Alliance which by the "Do not order"attached to his handle on Redditt LOL 2wks ago saw these threads and thought "heat score". SMH
Wouldn't touch Reddit imo they will spoon feed info to LE.

the longer you hang out on sst the sketchier that place seems. the turnover rate with the mods is rediculous and anybody can be a mod, just be active and want the job. master.on could be a mod there in 90 days or less.

If you were a mod there you'd understand why the turnover rate is so high. Some things are definitely sketchy for sure.

Guidelines for Law Enforcement

law_enforcement_guidelines - reddit.com
These guidelines provide U.S. law enforcement with information about Reddit, Inc. (“Reddit”), its business and user records, and the legal process required to compel Reddit to produce information regarding Reddit users in the course of criminal and civil investigations...

What Account Information does Reddit have?
Except for when a user is signing up to Reddit Gifts, Reddit generally collects minimal information from users and may have little or no non-public information available regarding a user. Where Reddit has information about a user that information can be separated into three basic categories:

Basic subscriber information. This includes a Reddit subscriber’s name, address, IP logs, username or other subscriber identity, and billing information (if any).

Other non-content records or information about a user or the user’s conduct on Reddit. This may include message headers, user preferences and certain activity logs.

Communications content. This may include the content of posts, comments, and messages, as well as other information regarding the substance of a Reddit user’s communications on Reddit (such as upvotes/downvotes, posts/subreddits viewed, and/or search terms). Most Reddit content, aside from private messages between users, is publicly accessible and therefore available to you without Reddit’s assistance.

Except for the IP address used to create your account, Reddit will delete any IP addresses collected after 100 days.

For more information about the information Reddit collects, please see Reddit’s privacy policy and the privacy notice for Reddit Gifts.

Does Reddit have access to user-generated photos or videos?

Reddit hosts some image uploads (i.e., redditmedia.com images), however Reddit is not the sole hosting provider for images that appear on the platform.

Data Retention Information
What information exists once a user has deleted their user account?

Once a user has deleted their account, the profile will no longer be visible to other users of the platform and it will become publicly disassociated with any posts or comments that were made during the time the account was active. However, posts, comments and messages will still be visible, unless such content was deleted.

Certain information about a user profile may be retained by Reddit as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Please contact us (at the email address below) if you require information on a user that has deleted their user account.

How do I make a preservation request?

We do not retain data for law enforcement purposes unless we receive a valid preservation request before a user has deleted that content from our platform or before the Preservation Period expires.

Consistent with 18 U.S.C. § 2703(f), Reddit will preserve records for up to 90 days pending issuance of legal process if it receives a written preservation request in the form noted below:

Signed by the requesting official;
Include the Reddit user name and the URL of any relevant Reddit posts;
Identify the records to be preserved;
Identify the time period for which records are to be preserved (maximum 90 days);
Confirm that valid legal process is forthcoming;
Have a valid return official email address; and
Be sent on law enforcement letterhead to lawenforcement@reddit.com with the subject line reading “Preservation Request - u/[insert relevant username here]”.

All legal process and requests for user information must be

narrowly tailored,
specifically identify the account at issue (e.g. u/[insert username]), and
specifically identify the information sought (e.g. basic subscriber information) which cannot otherwise be obtained online.

Subpoena
Name, address, online contact information, services used, length of service
Search Warrant
All other content and non-content information (i.e., IP logs, message headers, location information, content).

did you guys notice ? each time there is a bust master.on knows it right away,

the same day there is bust and the same moment he is posting the information here

I have long suspected that he is DEA because how would he know ?

Nice stealth shipping brah, lmfao. Gets a full lab sent in his one package from China. Hate to say it but some people just deserve to be busted

lol I thought the same at first and it may still be the case, except the CBSA site shows a different picture of the seizure (about 20 clear plastic bags with raw powder inside), so I'm thinking the picture that news sites are using (of the pill press and completed orals and vials), may have been what was found after searching the actual address.
