Some of them have ties to the main rep, I know where they send the cash and where the operation takes place; save your money. You're going to spend it regardless what a random online handle named Devil tells you, but this time you should bite your lip and say no to their $40 test.

Thanks for the insight, so far they seem untrustworthy. I think the only source I've seen so far that looked legit was Newport, sadly they're private :/

There are other legit Canadian sources...but they're also private. Mission's bust really made people think twice about being a massive public gear supplier.

Not trying to come across as a shill but don't you pay for the quality. I'd rather pay a small mark up for quality no matter the lab.

There are many quality labs out there that you don't have to pay outrageous markup on.
They are just as good if not better. You are fine using Newport they are consistently decent. But they aren't some super steroid from mars that justify paying double the price or more of other reputable brands

I had good experiences with Mission, I've heard of complaints on the lab before but I have none. Every lab has its bad runs though. Also really not much point in arguing about something that doesn't exist anymore

First of all, Newport is not double of ANY reputable Canadian lab. I have no idea who youre dealing with but i assure it's someone who thinks youre an idiot. It must be painful for you to not be able to secure a legitimate Representative.
