Well 0.25 per to get technical haha and yeah why risk the infection. Plus I find when drawing it will dull the tip and is a bitch too blast.Better to be safe then sorry usually needles cost roughly 0.43 per pin why risk it
I know, just been lazy, for the drawing needle I really don't care much, but I know you guys are right, I'll probably get screwed because of that one day...Better to be safe then sorry usually needles cost roughly 0.43 per pin why risk it
That's my point, I always use a fresh needle to pin, but to draw whatever...I agree, but i also use the same tip for drawing multiple times now and then lol. Works for me since "93"

Again, I know it's not the smart thing to do, but...

Same here, sometimes I use the larger gauge to draw few times before throwing it out
To draw i use the same tip a few times, but i wipe it down before and after and keep it on a clean syringe between uses. Always a clean one for injections though. Just how i do it.
How do make sure the drawing needle is clean and sterile useing multiple times? Not to mention contamination of your vial
Pins are cheap, infections are a pain in the ass
I do exactly like you, and I agree 200% with you in one thing, that's how you do, you are not telling anyone to do the sameI swab my vials before and after same with the drawing pin. It's not like it sits idle for weeks on end, maybe 2-3 days max and always a lid on it too then in a Ziploc bag. The chance of an infection the way i do it is very negligible, but again this is just how i roll.
I got an abscess in my 20's from using a needle twice to draw, now its one to draw and one for injection. Take no chances guys.
Always use fresh needles... always.
