Canadians talk domestic

Yeah, the student doctor said she agreed with what I was saying. The doctor she was under was pissed.

The last place I tried gave me the blood req. I went and did the panel and went home. Did my pins and when the results came back that doctor had called and canceled half of them. I was pretty choked.
Sounds bizarre did you take a paper copy of your req ? I’ve never heard of a doctor ever doing that or why they would. Alberta has lots TRT clinics now always a option , or get tight with a naturopath and pay out of pocket.

Yeah, results didn't show up. Called the lab and they were canceled at the doctor's request. And yes I took my req with everything that I had requested.

they hate if drug seeking... if "bad" drugs, yet every 3rd commercial tells u to ask ur dr about drugs...also if think u are trying to get req to try and diagnose or treat yourself(UGL steroids) ya def won't be happy as its an ethical issue for them and dont want to get disbarred because facilitating drug use. wether makes sense or not for harm reduction is beside the point...

Wow, this is crazy.

We should like keep a list of cool doctors - seriously, have a sticky thread with names and contact info for doctors whom are helpful to our cause ….Christ people talk gyno surgery in any given city and people be name dropping surgeons - we need to keep another list for blood work docs…

I went to 3 walk ins and all told me never come back. I was pretty honest.
You gotta get a doctor that is accepting new patients but that doesn't accept walk ins if that makes any sense lol

Im in Alberta too, PM me and Ill give you my doctors info. He gave me a full blood panel anytime I asked. Not sure if he is accepting anymore but it wont hurt to ask.

Fellas,

Best Canadian source for BPC 157? Wife is suffering from some serious gastritis, and is looking for anything that'll help.

is she on other medications? bpc can make it feel better but may not "heal" like u think.. which is fine, just something to keep in mind. more like an antidepressant which has shown same healing and pain relief, side effect profile etc.

before injecting try, omegas, yogurt and 2 tablespoons of hemp hearts 1 tablespoon of ground flax every morning. also probiotics can be amazing. girls have 10 extra feet of intestines so are more prone to issues of the guts.. can be hormonal or stress too.. get a magnesium theonate or glycerinate as will help with contractions/cramping. if constipated can try mag citrate. vitamin b complex (or multi usually have enough), as help with nerves signals.

keep a note of what u eat and when it gets worse, remember if lower guts it takes 12 hrs to reach lower intestines.

did she recently have covid? antibiotics? lady had cyclical vomiting for 4 months after she was infected. and developed an 'allergy' to "greens powder", does she take any shakes powder?(try and remove for a few days see if it gets better) but ya covid fucks with peoples guts and they dont get it as its not talked about but in the literature, folks who had colitis ive seen get messed up for months from covid infecting there guts. people just dont get covid infects brain organs and intestines at first they thought it was impossible, but now well documented. just something to keep in mind.. lol even a paper saying folks complaining form gastrointestinal issues with ozempic should be tested for covid as sometimes the only symptom and was found often its covid infection not ozempic..

Imodium loperamide is amazing if got the poop cramps...

also, talk to DR if a chronic and has been longer than 7 days, could be something serious or easy to fix.

can lab, dues, Xpeptides, canadapeptide better(tested) and cheaper than nordic...

First off, thanks for the thoughtful reply man. She is currently on birth control and on pantoprazole for heartburn. I've read the same thing about the BPC - that it may treat the symptoms but not the root cause of her gastritis. The thing is, we're having a very hard time figuring out what the root cause is. The doctors are clueless.

The worst things for it are coffee, alcohol (which she rarely drinks now), anything acidic, such as oranges, anything with vinegar, etc. She's been taking probiotics from shoppers drugmart, but they aren't really helping. She's cut out the coffee and really restricted her diet. This has been helping, but only to a certain extent.

Funny you should ask. So this current flareup has been going on for about two weeks now, and it's her strongest flare up ever. About a month ago she got really sick. Fever, sore throat, body aches, everything like that. We didn't test for COVID, but it took her a while to get better. Even after a week she wasn't better yet, so we went to the doctor and the doctor gave her some antibiotics and a puffer. She got better after that, but the antibiotics really fucked with her stomach. They always fuck with her stomach, but this time it really did a number on her.

Someone else also recommended xpeptides to me. Is their website extremepeptides.com?

ya antibiotics do a #. I dont know much about heart burn meds but know its not super good for u long term, as u need high acid in ur stomach to digest minerals and b vitamins esp. also is natural anti bacterial/fungal/viral to keep most bad ones out of ur guts. also lack of b12 is a cause of gastritis iirc.. so may be as simple as that.. how's her iron levels?

if acids hurt it sounds like its in the stomach vs lower intestines. maybe an ulcer? but would think a dr would know pretty fast if its an ulcer..

I had an ulcer once and ya once avoided spicy foods and things that hurt it went away after month or 2 but I was 19 lol.

look into birth control sometimes they cause weird effects(I am sure has been on it for a long time but still), maybe needs to get a Dif low dose type (but look it up). the heart burn med would prob have more to do with it, or root cause of the heart burn.

any diet changes?

fiber and pro biotics do wonders, just flax/hemp with yogurt can help alot for some people, also does wonders for your skin with the fibre and omegas.

have a sneaking suspicion its prob linked to heart burn meds and b12 though... look into it

If you're in Ontario a service called TeleTest has expanded its services from STD panels to additional PED health monitoring. You'll pay lab fees for some of the tests but its likely worth it for the reduction in headaches:

The above service is limited to Ontario-only at this time, though.
Thank you for sharing this.

Going through their intake form it seems if you answer yes to the question "Are you currenty on Anabolic Steroids, SARM/SERMs, Post-Cycle Drugs", the application cannot be processed. Selecting no lets you move forward, and the next page says that it is for TRT monitoring. So I'm wondering if this service can be used with > TRT levels of PEDs.

Must be a new additional screener. That being said I imagine if you were to accidentally select the wrong response and say you’re only on TRT, there would be no repercussions.

Thanks again. Have been looking for more comprehensive reqs than the one I've been using so will give this a go.

Just wanted to share my experience trying out TeleTest after @graciebjj gave a heads up on it.

The intake forms were relatively straightforward, you need to indicate you're on TRT and understand that the scope of this requisition is monitoring / bloodwork while on TRT. There are different sections for filling out medications you're on etc. If you indicate "yes" to using anabolic steroids, SERMS, SARMs, etc. then the process will not allow you to proceed.

They have another metabolic panel option that adds in other useful biomarkers to monitor in bloodwork. You then schedule an intaked discussion with one of the physicians in their online booking system which is pretty good. The patient portal / website is also pretty good, better than others I've seen.

The intake discussion is a 10 minute online chat with one of the doctors. This is not a video or audio call, but in secure messaging. They asked some basic questions but it didn't turn into an interrogation or hostile and was quick and easy.

Overall this was easy, fast, cost effective. I got a requisition right away and am happy a service like this is now available as there are shortcomings imho with the other options.

My impression is they know what they’re doing, they want to help this demographic specifically, and they’re just covering their asses with the little hoops to jump through. All of which is fine in my books.

Yes, exactly. Im glad for it - there’s a need for safer use and harm reduction that the walk ins, online clinics or Gp’s aren’t covering adequately.
