Cancer Sucks....My Wake UP Call and Cycle Log

I am going to be 43 YO in a few weeks. In High school I was on the powerlifting team! Enjoyed the hell out of it and was very strong. Tried some Dbol once from some of the varsity football players, but felt nothing, pretty sure it was bunk or a date rape drug. I don't remember, but my ass did hurt for a few days...JK....Then life happened.

Married..divorced...married...divorced...married...are you still counting??? But I got fat. Really fat. At my highest weight I was 440lbs. About 3 years ago I got weight loss surgery called a vertical sleeve. They take out like 80% of your stomach and leave a banana size shape. I quickly lost weight. I went down 140lbs quickly in one year. lots of cardio and machine weights etc. Second year I lost 25 lbs. I had never changed anything from my diet to cardio/machine weights. Pretty consistent. My Dr. said our bodies have a set point where it comes easy and then very hard. Today I am sitting about 287. Yes still fat, Tubby, chubs. But consistent. But I have kept the weight off and never went back to old habits. But I am at a disadvantage because my stomach is small. So I can only consume 3-4 oz of pure protein at one time. So I eat more frequent or use protein shakes to make up the difference...

Cancer Sucks....:(

This is two months now post op. When they originally did it, it was the size of a dime. They had to go back in and get more out which was round as a quarter and three quarters deep! I had an aggressive melanoma skin cancer. They tested my sample and it shows I am clear but i have to go back in a few months and get tested again. But they assure me its good to go. Your favorite phrase!

The Wake Up!

When your Dr. tells you if they hadn't caught it when they did....well you know...bad things happen. I had started working out with a trainer in the spring 2016 to learn proper lifting habbits as I had back surgery 8 years ago on a disk. I wanted to learn how to lift right without fucking up on my form. But I still was not all that serious. I stuck with the trainer through August and about that time he suggested I get my testosterone checked because of my low libido, energy etc. I did and it came back as 211. Very low. I got on TRT in September. Then BOOM! Shit got real...Life's curve ball. I joined another gym as my trainer encouraged me too and our time ended

One night at 2:00am my arm was fucking throbbing from having the crater removed and On NetFlix I came across the movie Generation Iron. I don't know why I watched it. Or how it even came up. But it sucked me in. I needed a goal. So I said Fuck it! I started my mad research terror of 2-3 hours a day of pure research. I found this forum, and others. Started reading all about the profiles, sides, different cycles etc. Amazing info here. Started looking into sources, asking some dumb questions, watching videos, and planning. Planning my macros, my new lifting program etc. I then placed a call to a very prominent TRT doc and explained my goals. Best money I spent as he explained sides etc. Had blood tests done and we went over them. My current TRT doc is an idiot and is in it for the money but doesn't know shit about drugs.

The Plan  I want to compete in the Masters Level NPC Amateur closer to 50.

I knew after talking to the doc I needed everything up front before I started. Was already on TRT and knew I was on a marathon not a sprint. No Bostin Loyd cycle for me. I have patience. My biggest hurdle is the diet. Why? Because I can't consume a lot at one sitting. So I knew I will never be able to eat 5-6K calories a day and accepted the fact of 3-4K on my lifting days. 2-3K on my off days. It is what it is.

Macros :D
On my lifitng days I get in 250-275 grams of protein and 300-325 grams of carbs - 100-110grams of fats from almonds and oils. I eat every 2-3 hours starting at 6:00am. I drink at least a gallon of water with BCAA's a day. Lots of chicken, red meat, rice, pasta etc. Pre-workout meal, post workout shake and dextrose immediately after. I lift at night. Always have, weird that way.

300MG of TEST.
300MG on NPP
600MG of Primo

I split the dose's up over the week. I started in September on 200MG of TRT and 450MG Primo. I only started the additional Primo and NPP last week for a 10 week cycle of blast. I will then cruise on 200MG of TEST and my PEPS.

The Peps :p
IMG_2900.JPG

PEG MGF at 250MCG on my off days in the AM
IGF 1 LR3 40MCG PWO split between the biceps
2IU of Ventropin HGH right when I get up
BPC-157 at 250MCG daily

I have been pinning the BPC-157 in my healing arm and I am amazed how much faster the wound is now healing. Like some voodoo shit.

This is me a week ago at the start of my cycle. And yes I felt like an idiot taking a selfie at the gym. No one was around though.

The Routine ;)

I have taken the Hypertrophy approach and learning to feel the muscle. I am doing an HST program three days a week M,W,F with 8-12 reps and progressive load. I have slow eccentric movements to really push blood in the muscle. On the concentric lift I am thinking the whole time of moving the muscle I am using. You can just move your hand and grab the remote. But have you ever thought about that motion while doing it? Its a strange sensation and I have found the muscles get the pump. I like to bench. In the spring mind you I had only been doing circuit training for the past two years on machines. I wanted a bigger bench so that is the only part of my routine that is lower reps. I will switch up my program I am sure, but like it so far. I am starting to see the big vein pop in my bicep! Big deal right! But at 290+ right now its hard to see veins.

I do cardio on my off days using HIT on the treadmill for 30 minutes.

The Future o_O

I plan on this cycle for 10 weeks. Then will drop down to my TRT dose but will continue the HGH for a period of 6-7 months total. The peps I will cycle 4wks on then 2 wks off. I get bloods monthly and will post my first set here in a few weeks. The others are nothing exciting.

I have been very lucky in that my estrogen stays low. When I started TRT my baseline was at 9ml and I got tested a week ago and it is 16ml. I don't take an AI right now but have all of it on hand. Since I added the low dose NPP I will keep an eye on my prolactin but have Caber on hand. But it too is normal. Usually with the fat guys you have to watch the estrogen! But lucked out so far.

Blood pressure has been consistent and taken everyday. Average 133/77 right now. I have a home machine with a cool phone app. Watching it closely. The Cycle Assist brought it down a few points on a consistent basis.

I donate blood every 59 days and my RBC are always normal. Livers are in the low normal range. I don't plan on orals.

I will update my log frequently, and will respond to all posts positive and negative.

Since youve had melanoma once you might want to take another look at using Cialis . Its really being implemented for skin cancer lately ....just sayin (??)
Welcome and goodluck ~Ogh

Agreed, and you bring up a great point. I talked to my Dermatologist and ran by him some, not all of my SUPS. I did talk to him about Cialis and HGH. At the lower doses I am hat he doesn't see an issue. He also thinks mine was genetic and has advised my to do some genetic testing, which I am gonna do. Thanks for the feedback and pointing that out. Can't take this shit lightly.

Thought I would post some of my tools. I personally like weight gloves. Some like them, some don't. I prefer them. Added the wrist supports recently and they made a WORLD of difference. $19 on Amazon. I also picked up some Sabo Weight lifting shoes for the leg work. They have a 3/4" heel that does not flex. The front sole is thin. Really help you drive through the presses. I really felt it in the front of my quads. I only wear them for those lifts cause their not comfortable to walk in. Kind of like bowling shoes.

I Like to drink BCAA's during the day and during my workout. I am not a fan of just plain water. So kill two birds one stone. My favorite is grape. Can get at GNC or Amazon. I really like my Sony over the ear headphones. Not a big fan of things in my ear. Plus they always fucking pop out if I am benching and it screws up my lift.

t_IMG_2905.JPG

And my favorite! We have a local meat chain that is crazy good. Picked up my usual Garlic Black Pepper Beef Jerkey. I limit myself to 4oz per day because of the sodium. I talked to the butcher about this and they don't add sugar or preservatives to their meats. But got to watch the salt....Hungry?

Hope to kill it on Bench tonight. Gonna load up some "Big Sean" Gotta Bounce Back and pump out my 8 reps. Since I lift Mon, Wed, Fri I only do two sets each time as it adds up to 6 sets per week. But I have been stronger. Not Beast Mode like most of you, but I have been increasing 5lbs for 8 reps each workout for the past month. Will be starting with 250lbs for 8 reps. Then if I hit my first 8 then 255. If I get that 8 up to 260 for Wed. If not then start with 255 on Wed. Will see how far I can go till I plateau and then mix it up...And Yes I do full range reps. I extend and always touch the chest. Never bounce. Crazy scene at my gym with a couple of guys who slap 185 on and bench. The bar comes down and they start back up like 4-5" above the chest. I keep my mouth shut. None of my business.

Subbed.... good luck brother.... not crazy about the cycle you chose as I think you could have seen better results with more of a cutting cycle... just my opinion.. u chose good juice and it looks like your all set with everything you need.... I'm curious to see what happens with your weight, bf on a weekly basis... will you be having this checked by your doc on a regular basis?

try allstarhealth dot com. cheapest price on most of the supps I get.

love xtend. good luck. this looks like it'll be a very detailed log.

Good choice on gear man. POTG is definitely hot right now. Curious why you went with short esters instead of long?

You ready for a non bullshit answer 2D2P? Cause when I ordered originally I didn't know. I have been learning the differences lately and will adjust on my second cycle. Thanks for bringing up a great point.

Thanks for the nice comments and motivation. POTG has been good to me. But more important is the second line. Rinse and repeat!
