Cardio is going to kill you!

You gonna throw a pct in there anywhere or are you gonna put yourself on trt at 23? Seems like alot of trouble for 185 lbs?

Yes TRT. I love this and am committed to it, not just to try and compete. But because body building, and doing things athletically before I got into bodybuilding, has been my life. It's what makes me happy.
I also do it for looks, to attract the best possible mate. Honestly I'm all about finding that person.

Anyway, you see Frank zane won his three olympia titles at 183, 187, and 190 and that's all around 185ish at 5'9 like how I'm trying to be.

Jeremy buendia at 5'8 175 the current champ for men's physique division at Olympia is simply unbeatable and that's at just 175lbs. Even at 185 lbs I would have a higher BMI than him. So I think 185 pounds, symetrical and proportioned right and shredded to the bone is actually a goal worthy of achieving.

I just don't want to die to achieve it. And recently my blood pressure got up to 175/79 and I upped my arimidex and it has gone down to 136/72 in just 11 days.

I'm feeling pretty good. So will see how it goes...

That seems to be the trend nowadays with these young folk. Rushing for a procard and not thinking of the long run. I now guys that have been on the circuit for years that still dont have a procard but they improve every year and are in perfect health. Then there are those guys that get a procard in a year and a half and come and go like the fucking wind. They last like 3 or 4 years as pros then have to quit because of all kinds of health issues, perfect example justin compton.

Something to think about. I know I'll have to just go on trt and take it easy eventually.

Zane tried to compete with Arnold with big boy size.
Thats why he decided to get shredded. Failure to play big ball

Sorry if I missed it but you are running gear now also? Reason I ask is because of your blood pressure.

Well the only Olympia zane actually faced Arnold in during his reign was the 1980 Olympia. Arnold retired earlier in the 70's

6 weeks out of the 1980 Olympia, zane fell into onto his pool railing and split his nutsack. He was hospitalized and couldn't train for 3 weeks and lost 10 lbs before the show. He looked nothing like himself. If he was more in shape that year he might have been able to keep his streak going.

Also just want to add, Frank zane did compete in the open. And that's a real old school thing guy that small to do that. And today men his size compete in the men's physique division. So I would never compete against any heavier fellows...

Also just throwing this out there... U know I think Arnold mostly because of film, is overhyped. Alot of people think he's the greatest bodybuilder of all time. And that's simply not true. He was great and especially for golden era aesthetics. But Arnold never really brought his best into his conditioning, never really getting down to a body fat alot other guys would...

Arnolds abs and obliqued where a great indicator of this. There's a reason his most famous poses are with a vacuum.

Over hyped huh? Considering many of his best assets are STILL the measuring stick for modern bodybuilders.
OH...he didnt have GH.
Or trenbolone
Or insulin
Or AIs
Or modern training methods.
He did it all by instinct. And THAT my man is WHY he is the greatest ever

Sorry if I missed it but you are running gear now also? Reason I ask is because of your blood pressure.

My blood pressure was 175/79 and 102 beats per minute
9 days ago, after increasing my ai by nearly double I've gotten it back down to 136/72 and 70 beats per minute as of today.

I'm begging a cut tomorrow that I'm sticking out until I reach 5ish % body fat before that LBM 8 week bulk (most likely on trest or Tren ace) before cutting back down to within 5% body fat. Ideally coming out eventually at 185ish 4-5% body fat at 5'9 similarly in stats at least to zane.

And yes at the moment I'm on 1G test during this cut, to preserve muscle.

Cant argue with that he truly was THE pioneer of modern bodybuilding

Definitely and that's why I said for golden era aesthetics he was great. But I don't think many wise competing body builder today model Arnold, they may compare them selves as he is a legend of course... But it's sort of an outdated physique he carried. For the open the guys are alot bigger today. Classic physique is where Arnold would compete today, and even in that division he would struggle with a higher than desired body fat he typically competed with.

Also no ai? Wonder what he did for dbol. He should most definitely have gotten gyno without something for estrogen.
Arnold Is known for mega doses of DBOL and using it at length.

Dbol was pharmaceutically made at 5mg per pill. The perception is off. What does UGL dbol come as today? 20mg caps

I cannot believe you are running a gram of test to keep 190 pounds.

How much do you make winning your pro card?

Obviously what Frank did was awesome. It was beautifull. I just dont like the small frame small guy BB look. Preference i guess
Exactly. All the respect in the world to frank zane and he was a top notch ambassador but i like the big guy look myself also. Personally i love 90s era bodybuilding. Ive always said if the 70s were the golden era then the 90s are the platinum era.

I gotcha, you're not alone. Many criticized zane for being to small. Hence why he attempted the 1983 Olympia at around 197lbs but he came in 4th that year. And regreted it there after.

Even today many people believe they should do away with the men's physique division as @colossus25 said it's overcrowded. But not only that, the guys are in board shorts. Its just not bodybuilding. Even the guys in men's physique, like myself would rather pose and wear the regular posing trunks.

Having just a open, and a classic physique division (the men's physique guys can go there) I think would be best.
I also don't think we need a 212 division.

In women's bodybuilding I think figure and bikini makes 0 sense. We should probably just merge the two as they cross over anyway. And women's physique is good!

And the athletic division for women I think is kinda wierd, but it makes money I guess so whatever.

I read Arnold used 60-80MG of DBOL and did 22 week cycles with a 4 week bridge. Using also nandrolone, and primo.
Surely with this dose on DBOL he should have had gotten gyno or erecitle dysfunction without an ai? Is there something he could have used? I wonder how bodybuilders in the golden era made it work with out and ai...

Naw keep physique it appeals to many people out there. Just because im not a big fan personally doesnt mean im going to be a bigot about men's physique either. I think the 212 guys are perfect for that division. They're all the shorter bodybuilder types that wouldnt make it in the open. Yamagashi (i think thats how you spell it) is a perfect example of that. Classic needs better judging criteria and needs to do away with the weight limits.

Nothing lol is all about what u make when u compete, essentially from sponsors and then from winnings. But even at the men's physique Olympia there is only 20 thousand and prize money and it's split up between the top 6! So there's not much money in it.

I'm doing it because I love it and it makes me happy.

Also a gram of test to keep muslce loss from happening lol I'm just sort of doing it I honestly am not worried about the sides. I havent had any on test, and don't think I'm going to get anything to worry about from test.

High blood pressure for a moment was an issue but I controlled esto and down it went.

I'm sort of in the camp of no orals, HGH or slin but relatively high doses of injectables.

Who was your favorite in the 90's
Dorian, Haney, flex, levrone, maybe Coleman in the late 90's
