Carnivore/low carb

I did Keto for a year and my body was so used to it that even if I had 100g of carbs on a random day here and there I would be back in ketosis the next day.
 
I was on the carnivore diet for two months, just out of curiosity. Overall, it was tolerable but boring as hell - I’m not a big steak guy, so every meal was just eggs, ground beef, or bison on repeat.

The first week was brutal - had some serious diarrhea, and to make things worse, I was on Metformin at the time. Let’s just say long trips were risky, and trusting a fart was a gamble I wasn’t willing to take.

Aside from that, I felt great - energy was stable throughout the day, no hunger issues. My gym performance took a slight hit, nothing major, but my lifts definitely went down.

At the end of the day, I feel better on a balanced diet. Carnivore didn’t do anything bad to me, but it was just way too repetitive to keep going.
