Coaching

Been becoming increasingly interested in possibly finding a cycle, training coach. Looking for suggestions on where people are finding coaches. I know they are coaches on YouTube and such but probably not what I can afford or am looking for anyway just thought I’d throw this out there.

Your budget is an important starting factor. Aside from a couple individuals, youtube is NOT where I'd go to find a coach.

State your budget and goals and I'll do my best to recommend someone.

I think alot of people can help you with the first cycle assistance with gear selection, labs etc.(not finding a source)

Training coach is obviously more important than a drug coach.

Alot of free info on this forum and you have been participating well

I also know people the have money and just don't want to use time to research and rather hire people which is cool too.

I think this is a bit disingenuous. Just because someone has the knowledge and experience to manage their own diet and training, doesnt mean its always the best option.

We, as human beings, are REALLY bad at analyzing ourselves and our actions objectively, a coach you trust is a tool to overcome the self targeted shortsightedness we as a species have. Coaches help us remain objective and break away from any subconscious biases we may have.
With an experienced/knowledgeable client the coach/client relationship should be that of discussion, it should be a team effort to come up with the game plan that best reaches your goals, they are your advisor and council, not your boss.

outside of these factors, its just easier to have a coach handle things for you.
How many electricians want to rewire their own home, if they have the money to have it done?
How many contractors want to build the deck that their wife has been asking for, if they have someone they trust thats able to do it?

I find that both sides are true for myself.
Despite having the knowledge and experience to do my own programming, and being a coach myself, working with my coach has uncovered subconscious bias' and tendencies that were counterproductive to my progress.

likewise, on top of doing other peoples diets and training, i found that i was neglecting the effort and attention needed for my own, so working with a coach removed all the introspection and self evaluation as well as minimized the effort put into my own programming to allow me to focus on what actually mattered. Executing that program.

Itt was poor taste of words on my part. My statement was more targeted toward drug usage.
I know he just started here, I feel like most beginner cycles can simply be cut and dry.

Training to me can be a whole other monster to tackle

I don’t have a specific budget. I just hate spending money I don’t mind doing the research. I actually prefer it. The only reason is that I know it easy to miss things, sometimes my perspective can be off. You know second set of eyes is great.
I think I’m doing well so far. I’m planning my first cycle soon. Currently on TRT @160mg a week. Going to jump right to 300mg Test only for 10-12 weeks. Will have Nolvadex, and anastrozole on hand. Don’t know when to deploy those and or when they are necessary.

Coaching is the equivalent to skipping years of trial and error by utilizing someone who's made the mistakes already. Assessing your own response to various methodologies can be difficult. $200/month to get in 6 months what people take years to do is IMO of huge value.

I can help with some of these, they are pretty basic.

that is a reasonable dose(Especially granted you have already been on TRT). If you wanted to try something new and everything is stable.

I wouldnt think it would hurt to try an oral for the last 5-6 weeks of the cycle). Something mild like 25mg of Anavar.

In terms of an AI or a Serm(Tamoxifen/nolvadex). Usually you would do it for SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT.

I say that in caps because some people think you automatically need it. Some people get nipple discomfort at even having an e2 of 90. Some people like me can run 140s without an issue.

It is also easy to "imagine" the symptoms. At the dose, those ancillaries may not even be necessary. We should all have it on hand though.

Below is just hypothetical, and I doubt it would even happy at your dose.

Now some people may feel otherwise. If you start getting some symptoms of a "gyno flare". I would advise to take tamoxifen/nolvadex grab lab work ASAP.

If the symptoms arent being controlled, you could try a single dose of 1/4 of anastrazole or 1/2 of exemestane(you need to make sure you have blood work first)

a SERM wont throw off e2 readings. I think there is a study of it doing so after prolonged used, but this is a one time dose.

This is easy

Up your dose as planned, then get bloodwork 4-5 weeks in to assess aromatization rate.

Dont take any AI during this period, we want accurate baseline numbers from this bloodwork.

If you develop gyno symptoms (nipple sensitivity, itching, swelling, ect) Begin nolvadex to prevent tissue accumulation until you can get your e2 levels managed postbloodwork.

from then on, after youve gotten your bloodwork to see your individual aromatization rate, dose your AI as needed to keep e2 in a healthy, tolerable range.
Slightly high e2 is not something to be afraid of, but breast tissue can develop without the telltale signs (itching, swelling, sensitivity, ect) so even if you dont PERCEIVE any sides, you still want to keep your estrogen in a reasonable range.

Thank you guys for the advice. I will keep in touch. I am planning on starting it, in the next 2-4 weeks. I have a annual health checkup coming up in Oct and am supposed to get bloods done for that. I’m mid sept. Do you see any issues starting it before that appointment?

Is that your rate? 200/month? Thanks for your advice BTW I appreciate it.

Mines slightly higher based on my capacity (coaching is not my primary income). $200/mo can get you solid coaching for sure. If you want big or established names expect 300-350.

Good to know. Thanks , yeah I don’t need no big name coaches. I’m just a regular dude who decided to get in shape a few years back and fell in love with the process and really enjoy it. I don’t know where this path will take me, but we will see. I’m just trying to be as efficient as possible because I’m not getting any younger.
