This is not true at all. I was on TRT the last 12 years of my Naval career and deployed with my testosterone. Was prescribed the full dosage of 200mg a week by military doctors. Hell, I still get my TRT from the VA.

You are then the exception and not the rule. How many years were you in and what rank were you when they initially prescribed you TRT?

The Navy would have never allowed you to join with a "low testosterone" diagnosis.

I can’t speak to whether or not they would allow me to join. But to answer your question I was at 8 years, E6 up for E7.

Lowering physical standards to accommodate biological differences is a different topic. Many combat MOS’s had their physical standards changed/lowered so others could be included during the end of my service. That bothered me.
