Convicted Steroid Dealer Must Give Up All Assets to Avoid Prison

A convicted steroid dealer was ordered to relinquish his available assets to the government or face 15 months in prison. The Proceeds of Crime Act allowed prosecutors to seize any assets gained as the result of illegal steroid sales. James Broad has six months to repay this amount or he must go to prison. “It is not acceptable that criminals benefit from illegal activities and we will relentlessly pursue them through the courts to ensure their money is taken,” according to Dr Kirstie Cogram of the Financial Investigation Unit for Avon and Somerset Police.
