Cowboy's Switch the Darkside

Try to drop that first rep to your chest faster. Going slow is wasted energy you could press with on a max single if it becomes a habit. Could probably use more leg drive too. Besides that bar path and pause look good.
LMAO, I dont know what to day dropping that 1st rep, I try to break thst habit every lift my brain just won't let me lol... I will keep trying.

Leg drive is something I was trying to be conscious about today and thought I had better leg drive today. Again will keep working on it.

Trying to make sure I am more technically sound on all the cues especially this early in prep.

Anyone with some tips on leg drive for bench? I have bench amraps tomorrow.

I have been watching videos and there are some very different opinions on it.

I set me legs where I want them, push up and back onto my traps. Then grip bar and pull lats tight elbows in. Lift but off bench and unrack. Breath and tension legs, on the press I try to push myself up the bench bit find at times ass comes off when doing this. Did just read flex glutes will help this

My leg drive is garbage
I can be of no help here lol

As always looking for critique and comments
Speed squat finally figured the best way for the bands

Actually looks pretty good, squats against band are a different animal. Maintaining stability with the band throwing you around is an added challenge. I think they have their place. I personally prefer chains to bands for speed squats so I can focus on the speed.

Best I can do without fucking up my shoulder position is to get my feet back as far as I can, make some sort of attempt at thoracic arch and I rack with my butt up. Once I get the bar up I fill my chest with air and “touch Tricep to lats” and keep my legs tight to the bench and butt in contact

Thanks, those reds doubled over are stretched quite a bit and thought maybe wrong but it worked. If I had chains would try them especially Low Bar, shoulders and arms bad enough without the extra torque lol...one day will pick up some chains, this prep will be bands. Stability is one thing I need to work on so this helps that too
