Cowboy's Switch the Darkside

You'll find what works for you eventually. On one hand I feel like the progression might be too slow for where you're currently at, but on the other I think the high volume of good reps will benefit you greatly on getting your form down. But moving the same weight better and faster is still a PR, so even if the progression is slower you'll still be progressing.
Well I love volume so this should be good. Form and speed I think at this point before I get any heavier makes sense to keep injuries down. The faster and better(efficiently) I perform the lift the easier it should be to lift heavier in theory. I get to test maxes every time I run comp block.

Looking at my progress to date.
Squat completely stalled if not regressed. Form issue
Bench stalled some form issue but speed getting passed my sticking point isnthe main issue.
Deadlift is still progressing but getting form and speed can only help

You'll be hitting 3 plates in no time if you keep throwing that much bench into the mix

I have to get my act together.
Time to throw another ML of DHB into my quad sk thst you dint beat me to 315 lol.

Rough week, literally zero gym time.

Have to hit it hard next week, zero excuses
Competition is good, a buddy of mine is 265 for a single and my last single was 245 bit think I had 255 so welcome another in the mix lol

100% brother.

Gotta love the friendly competition.
I'm a VERY competitive guy, but I do it in a friendly way trying to help as much as possible.

Heres how competitive I am....
I'm going to beat @Perrin Aybara one day.
(Might take me a few decades.... and he would have to stop lifting for those decades too)

Just added up my benching numbers this week.
20144lbs
147 reps
35 sets

I could add the rest up but more curious on the bench

I figure when @Perrin Aybara is 75 years old I have a chance lol

What lift are we competing on? I'm super competitive as well, but never being a dick about it. I'll cheer you on even if you're beating my lift.

You're out of my league on all the lifts lmao.
Doesnt mean I cant aspire to pull your DL numbers, one day

Out of my league as well

I'm sure you guys could out BB style lift me. I know @Btcowboy was doing bent over rows the other day with more than I've ever done. I think 245-275lbs is the most I've ever barbell rowed. I'm sure other stuff like curls, which strict curl is actually a lift you can do at many powerlifting meets. Like I've said before I'm really just a one trick deadlift pony.

DL is the big girl.
I'm putting all the rest on shelf to pursue the big 3 lifts.
And yeah, my biceps are super weak for my size hahaha

Thanks, but I am all PL now so getting down to business and looking up to you and your numbers. I prefer being the light weight as it gives me something to strive for chasing you guys with the big weight
