Cowboy's Switch the Darkside

Jesus I am beat today.

Rough day eh.

Yeah,
Chest compressions take ALOT out of you.
Have a few buddies who are medics around the GTA.
One of them is a Tren monster and tells me it totally destroys him

Cowboy, what are yours current macros at? Are you still consuming high amounts of calories, protein?

I recently dropped from 4K to 3200c. Dropped carbs as well during this little bulk. Def getting chubby.

I am at or under 2k and mostly protein. Trying to cut right now

Eating out, all that sodium and carbs, once you get back on point you'll probably see a difference.
Ate at a grocery store deli. Chicken and potatoes so ya the carbs... i am just surprised how little I am eating right now not coming off stupid quick

4 days a week fasted 30 mins LISS
Wow.
This is such a hard game to figure out. Guys telling us to go in a surplus to build muscle even while holding a lot of fat,

I had some trainers tell me to increase my cal when I couldn’t lose fat, others said deficit,

some trainers said only do cardio couple times a week so you don’t build up a tolly others say burn 1000c daily!

wtf! Lol

hard shit to figure out

right now I’m dropping my calories. Fuck the “caloric surplus” to gain muscle. We ain’t 240lbs at 9%bf

It’s all trial and error. For most people, you don’t need to go all out at once—Super low cals, crazy cardio, etc. The trick is to use one at a time and then switch / add to it as your body starts to adapt and find homeostasis.

For instance, I started out on a small deficit of 2800cals. I lost 32lbs by just doing that and my regular training—no cardio. Then I added in carb cycling for my heavy days, which would increase my cals that day by about 400-500. Because of this, my body never really adapted to a low cal diet. I’m now sitting around 1500-2000 cal a day, trying to maintain enough energy to workout consistently... Once this stalls, I’m gonna add in 48hr water fasts to continue the weight loss. Then I’ll eat at maintenance for my new weight, build some muscle and then start all over again.

It definitely is and quite personal to each person. I am also finding it different each time I do a cut. I should be able to cut easy on 2500 to 3000 and for some reason this time I am under 2k and its slow.

Maybe time to up the cals.
Restart your system a bit?

I know when I'm running low cals for a while, it helps

Yeah I am thinking you are right. Also thinking PL is a lot less cardio (more rest between sets). Find Sheiko with the volume and me trying to get done in under 1.5hrs or less that it is alot more conditioning so see what this weekend brings me. Upping calories is definitely something that may need to happen anyways

That’s what a trainer at my gym told me to do when I hit a wall. “Up calories”
Complicated stuff
