Still sore and quite bruised but pushing through it... I kinda have to push through all of it, foot, arm tendons, low back.
That what keeps me from going the PL route. I could push my squat and DL numbers up but I can’t bench without my shoulder joints being sore for 4-5 days. Just not worth it to feel beat up for that length of time.

I prepped for this meet in the new year when it was planned for May. A big cut in weight followed by a 13 week prep. Issue during this prep was arm tendons. I was low bar and max bench grip width. 5 weeks out and a couple bottles of ibuprofen later it was postponed. Took the time to heal, change squat to high bar, narrow bench grip, even switched from conventional to sumo DL. Doing a 10 week prep with no cut beforehand. This go round we know the issues. Keeping ibuprofen at bay until today going to start taking it to get through.
 
Add to this during break between preps I was still able to bring numbers up slowly and be pain free. I think short of prepping you could do this

I may give it a try. I know for sure if I’m to keep barbell benching I’ll have to narrow my grip, but then I feel my triceps take most of the load. I’ll play with it for a few weeks and see how I feel. Maybe switching a few things will make me want to take the dive into full PL. Good luck!
 
Bodyweight today 226.6 down almost 2 lbs. When I hit 228.4 last week I was pretty surprised as I am eating avg 2600- 2800 cals per day. On one of my last blasts I was up to 4000 and didnt hit 230lbs. I thought about it and came to the conclusion that I was retaining a ton of water. 300mg e3d averages to about 700mh a week and this go I have not run an AI. Started my Adex and it kinda lools like it was the right move. I will keep monitoring it.

Meets tentative roster is out. I am in flight A. There are 10 at 100kg but I am the only one doing masters, but I am also doing open. Still looking like I will be able to cut water and compete at 100kg. Also 12 lifters at 110kg and 2 other masters if I cant weigh in at 100

How’s the knurling on your Texas bar? Ours is damn near too aggressive for me.

Man I tried rack pulls tonight with a rogue echo bar, I was wishing i had the Texas bar. I couldn’t grip it for shit, slicker than cum on a gold tooth
