How strong are you? 2 years of lifting you should be benching 225, squatting 315, deadlifting 405. Are you? If not I’d stop whatever you’re doing, lose weight and focus on that.

Do you find that fasted walks in the am increase your appetite? Seems to do that to me.I gotcha... I guess I was looking from my perspective as to what I would advise, and interpreting MW as advising similarly. I believe fat gain on a mass gaining phase should be controlled via diet, not with cardio... Obviously cardio for health reasons is different.
On another note, I do find some mild cardio helps keep my digestion going.... Nothing crazy, just dog walks etc.
