Trazadone is very good for severe PTSD insomnia, i been taking for 10 years and experience no side effects(that im aware of)

Trazadone would have been the best damn sleep med for me ever if I didn’t have crazy complications with it. After a few months of use it basically killed my short term memory to the point I couldn’t remember what I was saying in the middle of saying it. Fucking horrifying. It def put me to sleep and kept me asleep.

I use Prazosin now for my ptsd sleep issues and it does a pretty good job keeping me asleep. Not as good as traz but I get zero sides from it.

I took prazosin but it didn't work for me , plus it was just "another pill" that was added and I've been slowly getting off these pills , at least trying to tid the unnecessary, i only take traz and buspirone now and ive been slowly weining myself off buspar

My problem is staying asleep,,, i piss 2-3 times a night and its just because i drink 135+ozs a water day, 16 oz right before bed ,,, But i wake up in am without being groggy and a dry bed lmao,,,,

So for me 400mg was too strong at its peak, but wore off sooner than I wanted it to.

Yeah, I'm crashing pretty hard in the afternoons, but most of my complex work is front loaded in the day. What sucks is that I'm a bit of a zombie in the late afternoon/evening and then wake back up when I should be winding down for the day.

Seems unlikely, recent thyroid panel was golden and this is a recent development, which I am reasonably confident is associated with stimulant use.

0600 ~75mg modafinil dose
0700 300mg caffeine
0830-1230 involuntary sleep.

going to do 100mg today and maybe some psuedoephedrine

I was wondering if I read that correctly. I think I’d be bugged out if I took 600mg that close together. But I typically take my Moda with a 100mg of caffeine and 81mg aspirin. Not sure why other than that is the only way I actually feel anything.

I’m curious to learn more about the cumulative effect that ghoul is talking about. I’ve been using using Moda for about a decade now and have always just ordered like 40-50 x 200mg at a time and use them daily until they run out. Wait a few months months before ordering again and repeat the process. But I honestly had no idea Moda was that complex.

Honestly I was taking about 600mg a day of modalert. Id split it up through the days and take it with my kratom/kava. Unfortunately dependent on high dose kratom . It's the reason I feel like I need kava and modafinil. Modafinil is to pep me up. With the modalert I feel like I'd have to take it throughout the day to get a steady effect. Not sure how the kratom/kava is effecting the moda in my myself. So could be part of the issue I have to take so much. Just switched to ModVigil IP from modalert and shit doesn't even feel like it works . Not sure if it's a bad batch or ModVigil is weak or respond better to what ever fillers are in Modalert. I know I paid a shit ton more from my vendor which is highstreetpharma then the vendor 24x7 who offers it on this forum.

What brand? I've found I had to take modalert throughout the day to work. With the added variable also dependent on kratom and drink kava with my dose. Just got ModVigil IP and doesn't do for me compared to Modalert.

If you wherent on trazodone. Id recommend a heavy kava. My kava vendor bestvanuakava told me years ago he had a veteran who used it for PTSD. Its like a herbal alcohol replacement but much more mellow .Hard to get upset on it like ya can alcohol. Some say natures Xanax without the physical dependencey . Different strains offer a bit of different effects.

Naw man not a shill. Got a bad habit of listing vendors I use. Started using the kava even before started modafinil. It helped me manage issues with my kratom dependency. Like go to the bathroom. Or Mello things out of irritable. Either way one of those things wished would of never started yes it's mild but is apart of the combo that's cost me way to much money .

I appreciate i fully know and agree with you. I've been needing to get back off of it for awhile now. Already went to rehab but more so extended detox for it once. Should of went back a few years ago . Ive ended up causing dental damage with the combo like a dumbass. Just way overdid . They didn't lie whenever they said with relapse it will be worse . Should of never mixed an herb with pharmacutical. It's caused some major dental damage and not looking forward to facing it on a sober mind. First substance I've been physically dependent on . Watched an ex go through hell off opiods and caused me hell. Didn't understand it. Now I do and empathize on the addiction part atleast. Guess I'm grateful I was scared from seeing her use the pharm opiods . That I've never used any recreationally. Because my situation would certainly be even worse today . Or possibly not be here cause more dangerous. Realized whenever I enjoy something I'll way overindulge.
