Current thinking on HCG for those on lifetime testosterone?

I have not been on htis site much. Several years ago, Dr. Scally's position was that HCG was not necessary for those on TRT? I have used HCG for much of the 15 years I have been on TRT. I believe it has helped maintain both testicle size and, importantly, libido and possibly sense of well-being. Can anyone tell me whether many, or any, TRT docs use HCG as part of the protocaol? Have others in my situation found that HCG helps libido or sense of well-being? Thanks

What dose are you taking.and how often?

I currently get prescribed HCG from my HRT clinic and I take 1cc a week. I'd like to know some arguments against doing this. Will it raise estrogen too much?

I've had some hcg for a little but and I just got my bac water yesterday. I will be testing it purely for the sake of testicle size.

That's really all I have ever taken it for. To me, I like the sight of hangers down there. Call me a pussy haha. But I've read that it can increase estrogen. I'm not sure.

Been doing 1500 to 2000 ius a week now for three weeks. Definitely feel better.

500 test weekly
14-21 ius gh weekly

When I have been taking the HCG which has ben off and on, it is usually about 300 IU two or three times a week. I buy mine from India so I wonder how much potency may be lost in the long trip, undoubtedly through hot conditions by the time it reaches me in Florida.

How was your e2 on it? Did you blast at all while using it?

Are there really so few people here who are prescribed TRT and can say whether or not their doc prescribes or has an opinion on HCG. My old doc used to prescribe it and I am about to ask my current doc but am trying to find out whether it is a generally accepted practice.

GP’s usually don’t prescribe it. In my experience, urologists and sometimes endo’s are open to it.

Do TRT or longevity specialists prescribe HCG frequently? What is recommended at the seminars they attend to learn or stay current in the field?

If you go to a TRT/longevity clinic, they’ll surely prescribe you HCG. They’ll prescribe you 200-500 units, 2-3 times a week. My bad. I thought you were referring to just another family medicine type doc.

I started a few weeks ago at 250 iu's EOD. Felt great at first, been on TRT for a year now and while I could get hard and finish, sex drive and sensitivity wasn't there. Dick feels better, loads are better, balls are bigger. Only downside is having the estrogen riding a little high, only had a little extra sweating at night

TRT for 15 years no HCG, started taking it beginning of this year at 200iu daily with HMG 2xweek. Became fertile within about 5 months. It does spike Total Estrogen quite a bit though, at least for me.
