Customs wants original invoice

Canada customs is holding my package asking for an original invoice as they don’t believe the value is $10. I am asking the source to make me an invoice for $120 but could this just be a trap to admit fault or have they actually not opened my package and seized it.
should I send FedEx broker an invoice or write this one off as a loss?

It’s 5 geno pens and one test amp of primo. Even if the invoice is for something else it still counts as fault?
Doesn't matter what the invoice said if they opened it. Maybe if it's stealth shipped and they want an invoice for that. I got no clue but I sure as shit wouldn't respond

It’s not seized it’s just delayed in customs due to paperwork apparnelty. Would they even do anything if they did open it for 5 pens? They oeoend my last shipement of 5 pens I still got it.

Are you just waiting to hear what you want to hear?

It's all good bro! Just make up an invoice and go get your stuff. Don't worry about detective Johnson Sohbigg. He's just there to be officer friendly.
I’m asking if this is a trick customs can pull. Don’t need to be a didk

Hell no. Ignore that shit. Not worth the risk at all..
The reason why I am asking and willing to chance it is because it is FedEx who is asking for it for customs. If this was customs asking me directly or sending a letter I would know to cut my loss.

FedEx is acting as the broker and called me saying customs won’t release it until I provide an original invoice because they don’t believe it’s only has a value of 10 dollars
So it is customs who's holding it, who then contacted the courier to contact you. Either way customs is involved.

Proceed at your own risk. I'd still cut my losses..the answer is not going to change dude.

What's the deal with this invoice? Did the source pay less taxes by giving it a value of $10 or something?

I guess he did it so I don’t have to pay duty which fucks me cause I wouldn’t mind paying tax. No one is gonna believe a 12x12” package of hair products is not gonna be worth ten bucks
