"Cut or bulk"?

What would you guys recommend to do between cutting and bulking. I'm currently around 230lbs and around 20% bodyfat and 6ft2.

My issue is i don't feel like I have any where near enough muscle to cut down as I'll look Like a twig but then don't want to bulk as I'll look like a marshmallow.
Have had a few years off the gym finally back into it now already dropped a stone down but starting to feel skinny in the muscle department already. Vicious circle of cutting/bulking which is getting me no where! Any help would be appreciated

Lean first. Your body will maintain lean better. You will not aromatize as much. Bulk from lean your metabolism overall works better when your lean. I would shoot for less than 15%. A lot of body builders that is their ceiling for bf but thats mostly competitors and models. Get some hgh, metformin and a high anabolic: high dose primo, anavar, tren, dhb, etc. And start cutting calories slowly so achieve a good deficit where your losing fat but not a lot of muscle. So if you eat 3000calories a day go to 2800 a day for a week and monitor weight. Then do another 100-200 the next week and so forth and so on. There are guides to how much you wanna lose a week you can google or search the forum. Thats the thing about gear you can maintain strength and lose very little muscle in a cut

I think we need to pay attention to the training split, balanced nutrition, which will lead to muscle growth. And not just drive fat there court.

At the moment I'm in a deficit and losing around 3-4lbs a week just don't want to end up like a stick, will stick it out for another month and then see where I'm at.

The main thing is to know the measure everywhere, do not get carried away with burning fat.

Something is way off here.

If your stats are accurate, then CUT.

207 pounds at 10% body fat at 6'2" is not going to win the open class at your local NPC show, but it is not "look like a twig."

Cut down to single digits, then reassess.

I'm not looking at competing probably ever to be honest, just want to be in good shape amd have a good amount of muscle. I'm currently trying to cut down and I'm strict all week, as soon as the weekend comes all motivation goes out the window which is making me go round in circles.

Discipline and consistency is the difference between you and photos of those you wish to look like
I 100% agree. I'm disciplined during the week but as soon as the weekend comes around its downhill. I lode a decent 2-3lbs during the week and then binge of a weekend and put it all back on by Monday and it's a vicious cycle I've been in for months which I just can't seem to break!

I guess my question would be - why not?

Meal prep and stick to your diet on the weekends. Are you eating enough? 50 grams of protein from eggs and then 1.5 to 2 pounds of grilled chicken breast each day is a lot of food.

Perhaps you have a severe deficiency in food and therefore you break down. May opt for a smoother calorie deficit.

These two factors are always lacking for beginners, they want to quickly and immediately. But in fact, everything is simple, what you indicated, it all works when there is a systematic approach.
