Starting my cycle soon, got hold of test enanthate at 500mg/week, was wondering if nolva will do in terms of during the cycle anti oestrogen, as in taking it when need be, also would nolva suffice for PCT or should I invest in anything else.

It will help prevent gyno better than an AI.

I always included clomid with pct. It's cheap. Why not if your sex life is important to you.

Its my bad for wording my question so badly, im not that new to forums ahah, what i meant is using nolva during the cycle when symptoms like gyno occur, ive heard of some vets doing this so thats why i ask. Its also due to cost reasons. I am aware of arimidex used consistently during the cycle but i have read that just using nolva whenever gyno ect pops up is sufficient or even better.

Nolva is the ONLY thing that will prevent gyno.
AI's control your E2 which some believe will prevent gyno
If your predisposed to gyno you will get it no matter how much AI you take
Nolva is the emergency button. Always have on hand

ah right, i only ask since ive read several times from veterans how they only use nolva in case they need it and use no AI, but since im a newbie and i dont dont know how my body will react, its just whats best from an unknown standing poimt

For a mere 500mg a week of test id be really suprised to see you needing an AI anyway. Youd be on the sensitive side if thats the case. You should have some arimidex on hand either way. Definitely nolva on hand. Do it right then experiment after your first. You likely will not need it

Like GWT said if you know you have had problems with e2 in the past nolva is a must in every cycle that you use aromatizing AAS.

Years ago I did use it before AI's were more available. What I suggest is that if you know e2 is going to be a problem use nolva. I have been using an AI for the last 13 years while on either a cycle or now that I'm on trt a blast. An AI works well for me, but I don't have any problems with e2 related sides. I also think it is a good idea to keep e2 levels down as well, so I would use an AI also. If you can get regular blood work to dial it in that is even better.

The main consideration is to not grow female breasts.

Nolva works great for avoiding man titties. It does not, however, do anything about water retention, erectile dysfunction, acne or other non-gyno related side effects of high E2.

For your average person taking 500mg / week of test, none of those are likely too much of a serious concern (aside from acne), but I'd have an AI on hand just in case. If you find you don't need it after your first cycle, great. But it's fifty dollar insurance.
