Don’t know if my gear is bunk or not.
I have done one pin on both sides of my glutes so far and I am a bit concerned.
The first shot gave me pretty painful pip and inflammation that started to go down and get better after 4 days but the second one on my left glute is worrying. Less than 24 hours I started to notice that there was a large knot in my glute that looked a bit red and was also a bit warm. But I don’t know whether it is an abscess or if it’s just because I wasn’t injecting correctly on the second pin. The needle that I used was a 1” 25 guage needle, which I know now is too short for glute injections, and the shot seemed to go fine besides a few drops of blood coming out after the injection. I’m just wondering if I could get your guy’s opinion on what I should do at this point because I think it could be one of many things:
1.an abscess
2. A sterile abscess
3. Virgin muscle reacting to the foreign oil
4. Oil getting trapped above the muscle due to a shallow injection
5. Injecting into a vein
6. Just me being a bitch about it and it just being a normal reaction for a first time AAS user
I have felt no other symptoms besides the slight red ish color at the injection site where the lump is and soreness; but the lump isn’t raised, I have yet to get a fever, the pain is going down slightly and the size of the lump has not changed in the past day or two.
