Cycle question

I have been running 500 test 200 deca a week for abt 4 months put on about 25 of lean muscle. I’m going into basketball and want to keep my physique. I’ve seen ppl never coming off and just cruising at 250-300 test and never coming off. My last cycle was 300 test a week only and I went from 175 to 210 lean but when I got off I dropped to 190 and didn’t like the way I looked (face slimmed, neck got smaller ect.) would I be endangering myself with just cruising at 250-300? Also I don’t mind loosing muscle if I could get more toned.
