Dallas McCarver... DEAD!?

Doesnt make sense. I may be going out on a limb here but im pretty sure the dude has used insulin in combo with AAS and GH for some time. Just speculation...how the hell could i know that? I dont but the size he accomplished in such a short amount of time is staggering. Im sure he was quite advanced in how he dosed his insulin. Multiple types, overlapping. How the hell could he just pass out. Seems like he would see it coming? Or maybe he just got cocky with it or forgot about which one overlapped. An oversite. Idk...doesnt make sense tho

All it would take is him shooting his fast acting insulin and getting a phone call or getting distracted by something and postponing his meal. Hell he could've been stoned for all we know and that would impair his judgement also.

Once the blood sugar drops quickly your mind doesn't work right. He could have panicked and was trying to eat something and passed out.

I used to work as a paramedic and we saw diabetics passed out all the time. One giant 50cc syringe of D50 IV and they'd wake up swinging with no memory of what happened.

Having said all that, I honestly think he just choked. It happens every day and people do die from it. Josh finding him face down on the floor with food in his mouth/throat supports that also. What do you do when you choke? Lean forward and try to clear your airway. If you pass out you're going down face first.

Dude didn't choke to death. He went hypo and tried to shovel simple carbs in his mouth and died before he finished swallowing them. What I don't understand is, with all the money, all the support, etc, why he didn't have glucagone on hand. Slin is no joke.

Exactly. Folks on different forums/YouTube are already posted by the numbers

"Don't do steroids, kids" "It was probably from the massive amounts of drugs he was on"

Without even knowing any real details

While I absolutely agree the media will use his death as a spectacle, it will be difficult to ignore the overwhelming probability AAS/PEDs were involved either directly or indirectly in DMG death.

Heck at least we have an idea what and to some extent, how much or how many PED's RP was consuming. By his own admission It was MASSIVE, and enough to kill "most people" ------ including HIM.

I query if these recent deaths are related to the WELL DOCUMENTED effects of GH on the CV system, the heart in particular. I say this bc it seems many Professional BB are running GH at doses that may approximate levels that are seen in patients with giganticism.

A good example of GH's cardiac effects was Andre the Giant who permitted a full autopsy as a means promoting medical science.

Add to that the less well defined untoward cardiac effects of high dose AAS and we may have a recipe for disaster, esp in BB with a undefined or undiagnosed predisposition.

On second thought a "cardiac death" at age 26, is less likely to be related to AAS/GH IMO

Yea same old endless media hype of lets "cover the story" in spite of the fact we don't know squat about it!

"Choked on food
at 12 mn
used slin
used AAS
was "unsuccessfully" resuscitated by a friend"

bla. bla

Since MG's death was unexpected and otherwise unexplained an ME WILL be involved. However the proximate cause of death is not always clear cut, even at autopsy, but it is what it is.

I might be in the minority here, but I still think that's it's very possible that he did in fact get choked.

If you've ever been a situation to where you were choking on food, you know that within a few seconds it turns into a true life or death moment. I've unfortunately have been on that side before. It happens so fast that you have no time to call for help. You can't even utter the word help... I know. My life was saved my a man in a Sonny's bbq restaurant. I had a maximum time of 10-15 sec before I was out cold. I couldn't talk, whisper, say anything. I knew I was in trouble. My wife tried to do the hymlic(?) on me but I was too big. A man next to us grabbed me and picked me off the ground twice, and I never knew it. He saved my life.

It can happen. I have a narrowing of the esophagus. I have to chew my food up very well. Dallas could've been facing the same problem. If he did, and was alone, there would be nothing he could do.

I cut my meat up frickin small just for this reason.when you eat 6-7 meals a day your odds are greatly increased that something could happen.Terrible waste of life.

Slin as a PED is certainly not childs play and is one reason why I vehemently discourage it's use on Meso, which is overun with noobs willing to "try" darn near anything.

However a large portion of symptomatic ODs related to the use of diabetic agents is the result of ORAL AGENTS in the sulfoylurea class. (Keep these drugs away from kids bc a 5mg Glyburide pill can result in severe hypoglycemia and even death in those in the "toddler" age range!)

Unlike novice's, I can't imagine a PRO BB using Slin as a PED would not be fully aware of hypoglycemic premonitory signs and symptoms and grab a class of OJ before they were rendered unconscious.

And it's for this reason, providing hypoglycemiac counter-regulatory mechanisms remain intact, DEATH from the intentional use of Slin is quite RARE

FYI - Glucagon is not as effective in those with limited glycogen stores. The latter may occur in those PROS whom are in a "cutting" or pre-competition phase of a cycle.

You may find it interesting the reasons folk tend to pass out so fast during an upper airway obstructive event; hypoxemia (low O-2) and bradycardia (low HR).

The latter is important to recognize bc "CPR" is of no help in those with an obstructed airway!

Not surprisingly the number one cause of upper airway obstruction in adults STEAK!

Glad someone knew what to do.

Im thoroughly impressed with that sentence. (Slaps ass) nice one doc

Fact is death from an intentional INSULIN OD is also very uncommon if not "rare".

However bc the brain uses glucose almost exclusively as an energy source, what may occur is even worse - BRAIN DAMAGE that can result in SEVERE disability!
