As Ive posted before I was recently diagnosed with low testosterone. Ive been taking ZMA and trib for about 2 weeks now and so far feel a bit better (high libido, a bit more energy). I finally got my doctor on the phone to talk about the test results and he suggested I take DHEA. Would this be a good thing to add to my current regiment?
My DHEA sulfate number looks to be in the normal range. However, I am a very anxious/stressed out person and I read that DHEA supports the adrenals in times of stress.
Thanks for any input you guys may have;
Im a 30 year old male.
Test Results;
Testosterone Total 182 (250-1100 is range)
Testosterone Free 51.9 (46-224 is range)
Testosterone Bioavailable 120.4 (110-575 is range)
SHBG 7 (7-49 is range)
Albumin, Serum 5.1 (3.6-5.1 is range)
DHEA Sulfate 433 (110-510 is range)
FSH 1.7 (1.6-8.0 is range)
LH 2.5 (1.5-9.3 is range)
TSH, 3rd generation w/reflex to FT4 2.59 (0.40-4.50 is range)
* I know that Ive started three similar thread but they each have a different question and I thought that it would be best to split them up. My other question is under the ment's health subforum and deals with the problem Im dealing with overall.
