Did you reach your natty potential?

I was actually talking to my cousins about this, one regrets not diving into gear when he was younger; then he could’ve at least had the time and probably the constitution to push the dosages because of youth. Now, nearing 50, he doesn’t have that leeway anymore plus there’s only few more years to push the training for muscle gains.

In comparison one cousin who I consider a little bit reckless, got to the size he wanted before 30 and is now just cruising at trt doses, blasts once in a while while following a mediocre diet and training plan but already has decades of holding the muscle mass that he’s not gonna shrink easily.

I don't know how to really answer this question.

I trained my whole life natty, from starting at age 17. I hit 300/400/500 natty.

It was only when my body betrayed me in my mid-40s and I had to go on TRT because my HPTA no longer made its own Test that I thought "Fuck it, lost my natty-card, might as well see what all the fuss is about" and started cycling.

In My Opinion, guys should stay natty as long as they can so they learn how to train, recover, and eat properly.

If you know all that and THEN add steroids, you're going to do great.

Almost every young guy I've known who started using early in his career doesn't stick with it for the long haul. Maybe not every guy who starts early, but certainly most quit working out after a couple of years.

I don’t know I thought I reached just about my genetic potential, especially as fare as athleticism speed power ect Mabe not leanness, @ 6’3 in the 220’s I did a total around 1,110 1,200 pounds. I could even do a shit ton of push ups 70ish and pull ups 16-20 straight peak natty, while having a decent 40 yard and could finish 5k jog non stop.
I posted a pic and got roasted lol. I guess I was still skinny fat. Makes me scared to post a pic of me on gear.

I was an AAU Powerlifter in my late teens to Mid-20's.
So, my 1st Cycle was at 25.
I was looking to put on weight to jump into the 220 Lbs. Class.
I had lifted in the 198 Lb. class since my teens, and just couldn't put on the weight.
That's another thing I learned, along with Training the Body.
You need to train your Stomach to get down the extra Calories............JP

I not only topped out, but had started to decline with age and lowering hormone levels, before I tried steroids.

Do you know how frustrating it was to slowly get weaker over a couple of years no matter how much you ate and how intensely you trained?

Then, boom! I was stronger than I had ever been in my life in a little over a month and larger and leaner, too.

LOL!

It helps that I had all of my training dialed in, and some bodybuilders on a forum like this helped me with my diet while I was still natty, so I was already eating a well planned diet for a couple of months prior to hopping on, so when I started injecting, the transformation was so swift it was amazing. I did not just get bigger, but I looked like I had never looked before. There was a huge visual transformation.

It made me wish I had tried it when I was younger, but with no internet to learn and just rumor from other guys in the gym, it probably would have sucked.

Absolutely. Was an athlete from a young kid till college. Started lifting at 13 and never stopped. Once I hit my mid 30s I realized my physique wasnt improving anymore and recovery took a tad longer. Hadn’t met my wife yet so the summer I turned 36 is when I began my testosterone journey. Been on ever since. 150-200mg a week year round and bump to 400-600 in the summer. Testosterone only with anavar if I can find a solid source. This year it’s 400 test and 50mg of Proviron as I sourced some pharmaceutical products. Came off for 8 months back in 2022 to get wife pregnant and hopped back once once she was 4 months along. Proud dad of a healthy lad now!

Now that my son is here I’ve pretty much eliminated the thoughts of adding more compounds or running more test as the goal is to be here and healthy for him. I’ll be 46 soon and while that isn’t old I’m not exactly a spring chicken anymore. The goal is to be as strong, mobile, and lean as possible for as long as possible!

Thanks for sharing. I am very thankful for this board. I have learned a lot in the last year and continue to learn everyday.

Nobody will never know what their "natural potential" is until its too late, i think its kinda stupid concept. Build a strong base and learn to perfect the process of training, dieting and lifestyle factors to become the best version of yourself, and add some enhancement to that after youve been practicing that for a few years and know how to manipulate things in a way that supports your goals and lifestyle.

Well said! Thanks for your input

"natty limit" is just another way for noble natties to gatekeep themselves for gear.
Most of lifters are people with regular jobs and life obligations. It will take more than 15 years to even come close to reaching your "natty potential" or you can take gear and do it in a few years. Life is short, why overcomplicate things.

If I could like this more times I would! Thanks for your input
