Do you have to taper t3 if only on 7days?

This is the 2nd thread I have started to generate some form of discussion. I am questioning the need for taper t3 if you only use it during a dnp 7 day cycle.

Currently my cycle is 200mg dnp, 125mcg t3, 125-175mcg clen for 7 days. I will continue the clen 7 more days and was wondering if it was a t3 taper was needed. Pup

I understand what your saying....if you asked for opinions mine would be to taper off as to not throw your body in a tailspin.

Thanks Southern and Grizzley. I will taper the t3. Don't need tailspins this close to my contest. pup

OK Mammot and others. You guys are way out in left field onthis one. I am presently preparing for a state bodybuilding contest in 3 weeks. I am on gear because I am dieting hard.....I am running a 7 day dnp cycle in my diet as I have done 3 times in the last 16 weeks. In the Dnp cycle of Dnp 200mg/day with a t3 dosage of 125mcg from day one. there is no need in my research to ramp up the dosage when you have used it before. I know the amount that is safe for myslef and I am not wasting mytime in baby doses. At the same time I am running clen for 14 days at 125 mgcg/day. This along with my gear is presently producing a 1 to 1 & 1/2 lbs of bf lose per day!!!

I was only questioning the need for tapering off if used for a short 7 day cycle.

Oh and I am doing it all the way.... and my way is can be proven in the pics I will post before, at and after my contest. I will step on stage 5'10" 205lbs and hard. I am not a newbie to this game. Pup

Thats wonderful pup, I am proud you are getting those results, Keep up the hard training, and never surrender.

I hired a little Firecracker last week to work the door. This guy stands 5'4 and is at 208 lbs, with a BF of 8 %. Never touched juice as of yet. I can only imagine what he will become if he ever decides to grow larger.

So you could hang out with skin heads and other lowlifes and then come onto MY board and try and get smart when you get called on talking out your ass?

Grizzly, May we please leave this in the past. I have little time to get in a pissing match with you. Nothing can be achieved of it. All we can do is throw verbal assaults back at each other. We both have one undeniable thing that binds us, and that is the love of Steel.

You know I have a knowledge of what I am doing, and I am sure your knowledge is vast as well, so lets just discuss ways at which we can both become the Uhber Mensch we dream of becoming.

The fact is no matter how mad we get at each other, the odds of one of us traveling 100s if not thousands of miles across the usa, to get in a confrontation is slim to none.

All I want is the chance to contribute to this board and hopefully learn many new things.

I will contribute to this no more, If you wish to let it be, I will respect that. If you feel the need to get in the last word, to satisfy your ego, then please vent. My responce to this is over.

A 7-day T3 cycle will yeild next to 0 results. It's a fast clearing drug; it's not like something that will hang around your body for a while after you stop.

I do not understand the reasoning for using DNP at the end of a cycle to keep your gains. Every time I see someone use DNP and post results, they lose a shitload of muscle - every time. If anything, you should be using gear for your DNP cycle, not vice-versa, just to keep muscle-wasting down to a minimum (based on results that I see posted these days, DNP is not a "fat incenerator", but rather a "catabolism-accelerator" - you lose weight - fat and aminos - much, much faster than you would otherwise). Adding a large dose of T3 in a burst would only accelerate muscle loss.

ON a note, I have done 300mcg daily of T3 for two weeks at one point, and was not shut down. In fact, I have never seen any proof - any - that a long term (and definitely not permanent) thyroid shutdown would occur due to T3 use.

Yes it can happen and can be permanent but the only cases I've seen have been women....Just saw a thread the other day from a woman who is a BB who now takes thyroid medication for life due to T3 shutting her down permanently. And of course....I'll look for the thread. :D

Okay, apparently you can't read. I am on tren, test, eq and winny while using the dnp cycle in prep for a contest. Please read the whole post before putting you 1/2cent in. Oh and if you think DNp is not muscle sparing, discuss that with Heretic. He will shoot you lame ideas down. I have monitored my bf% and I have lost very little muscle. If I have lost muscle, it is amazing that my strength is 90% of what it was 65lbs ago. Pup

I have to say that strength is amazing with that much of a weight reduction. However I can't imagine you lost 65lbs of just fat. Dayem

Well I am sure there has been some muscle loss. I calculated what I need to lose and set a goal of on stage 205lbs @ 5'10". I believe I will hit it as I am 200lbs depleted after DNP.

I don't know if I will bulk to that level again. Although it might sound like alot of fat, if you have never dieted for a contest and gotten really low BF%, you'd be surprised to see how small you really are without the fat in, around and under the muscle. Pup

"My lame ideas" are very well supported by what you just said. If you still lost muscle with clen and all that gear, then DNP is not all that muscle-sparing, now is it?

Nothing is "totally" muscle sparing you dip shit!!

I was not on DNP for the whole 4 months I have been dieting, only 3 7day long cycles in the last 6 weeks. Not even the strongest anabolic substance can counter the catabolic states that exercise and a low calorie diet can produce. DNP didn't cause the muscle loss. I did through typical diet and exercise. You're prepping for a contest, so I will leave further negativities out of this. I'm glad you're so knowledgable about the subject, and your reasoning and logic are certainly up to par with that of a semi-intelligent human being. Right. Good luck with that competition.

Ohashi, I appreciate the good words.....and I understand we will not always agree. I do suggest you read heretic sticky and question him on his reasons for believing Dnp has muscle sparing abilites. Again, I appreciate the nice words as I am grumpy as hell and tired of dieting. Pup
