Just came from a dr appointment. I've been experiencing alot of problems with urination, like frequency and a painful bladder. I've tried antibiotics, and all kinds of other things. I was diagnosed by two dr's with prostatitis, and anoter doctor beleive it or not told me it was all due to stress. Anyways, after he told me that I wnet to my GP, who siad he doubts its from stress, although it may be a reason its not getting any better. He did blood tests, the first time I seen him, and I told him I have uses steroids. He told me that highly doubts that the steroids have anything to do with it, but wanted to check my test levels and all anyways. My test level was 1243, when normal is between like 200 and 800. He said that they are very high, and that he thinks maybe that can be causing me problems. I havn't juiced in over 6 months, and its crazy because I did like 3 cycles and never once was smart enough to use pct (except nolva my last, because I was trying to get rid of a lil bit of gyno). I'm just wondering, maybe Swale can help me here, if my T levels can have anything to do with the problems I'm having. I dont currently have insurance, and really dont want to throw money away. Thanks alot.

I went through the same thing. Diagnosed with Prostatitis. Prescribed antibiotics (for months at a time!). No change. It's a dirty little secret among urologists that antibiotics don't do squat for about 90% who suffer from chronic Prostatitis. But they prescribe them anyway. Why? Because doctors don't want to admit that they're powerless.

Your doctor is indirectly correct. Your problem is high E2 which is caused by high T. When I controlled my E2 with Indolplex/DIM, the problem went away. E2 is the culprit, not T. But high T creates high E2.

BTW, I'm not a doctor. I just play doctor on the Internet. :D

I really really hope that is what is causing it, being that right now, I'm severly depressed, thinking I"m going to have to live with these problems the rest of my life. The only thing that helps the prostaitis right now, is the alpha blocker urxataral, which isn't a cure, and only helps a certain amount. Did you also have frequent urination, and a litlte bit of pain due to it?

I guess first thing Monday morning, I will ultimatly make the appointment with the endo he suggested. I really have my hopes high now that this is what it is, and that I will be cured afterwards. From the looks of this problem, alot of people who end up with it, are never cured, and it SEVERLY affects the quality of life. I'm sure you already know how it is if you had it. thanks for the reply, plea ehelp some more

About 2 to 4 days. The tricky part is getting the dosage right. Low E2 is worse than high E2.

Start out taking one pill after dinner. If you feel good after for a few days or so (strong erections, relief from Prostatitis, etc.) and then feel bad again, that means that you dropped your E2 too low. If that happens, stop taking DIM for a day or 2 and start up at half the dosage. Keep adjusting like that until you find your maintenance dosage. The optimal range for E2 is very small.

You think I should get some nolva or anything?
No. If the Indolplex/DIM works for you, it's by far the best choice.

David is right here I had this problem I even had a ream job this lasted for a year. Then the same thing again. I was getting 6 bladder infections a year some going into my kidneys the pain was unbearable. To help with the infection I took Cranberry Tablets.

This kept the infection down.
But I still had a low pain in my prostate until I found out my E2 Estradiol was very high I was on TRT and my levels were around 1000 or I did not feel right.
I tried the wrong DIM and ended up taking Arimidex to get my E2 down in less then a month the pain was gone and I was sleeping all night long not once getting up to void. My Dr. checked my prostate and it got smaller he could not believe that my E2 did this. After suffering all these years. But to keep my E2 normal I take Indolplex/DIM "Thank you David" using Arimidex is to dam strong to maintain normal levels and the Indolplex/DIM works great. But still I would get it checked first to be sure your E2 is high and then after getting it down and feeling better have it checked again bring your E2 down can make you Testosterone go higher.

Estrogen causes the stromal tissue of the prostate to proliferate. This also hardens the prostate on palpation.

I would have your T level checked again. This assay is notoriously innaccurate.

I'm still waiting for a surefire way to lower total T not just E2. My E2 is fine but total is about 60-70 points over the top. Don't know if this is causing my pee issues and water retention or not. I'd like to be able to lower it to see but don't know of any way.

*sigh* Just have to wait for science to catch up!

Thanks for all the help so far, I appreciate it. I just came from the endo apt. It was a younger guy. When I mentioned I thought it was high E2 causing my problems, he told me he didn't think it could be, but he wanted me to get bloodwork done again as he didn't beleive my test was that high. I said well could that have something to do with it. He said I dont know. That was his answer to everything. I'm just going to try and stuff suggested above, I already ordered it express shipping on fri night, so it should come in today. I'm hoping it works. I will also get the blood work done anyways just in case, but I dont see any point in going back to this guy in 6 weeks like he suggested.

I bought that Indoplix/DIM stuff from the place davidz suggested. I paid 20 bucks for express shipping last Friday, and sitll havn't received anything...

Did you try to contact them to follow up? I've ordered from them about 6 times over the last couple of years with no problem. Many others have ordered from there, too. If I had paid for overnight delivery last Friday, I would have be all over them by Tuesday if I hadn't received it.

I tried ordering from Rite Aid a month ago and never received my product. I emailed them a half a dozen times with no response, and you won't ever get a live person on the phone either. I left 2 or 3 messages and never got a call back. I am now waiting for my Amex statement so I can charge it back.

That's not good news. I just ordered product from Rite Care (not Rite Aid) about 4 month ago and had no problem. They've always been the best price I could find on the net for PhytoPharmica's Indolplex with DIM. It could be that they're flaking out. I'd keep trying to get satisfaction from them.

In any event, I strongly endorse PhytoPharmica's Indolplex with DIM. Where you buy it is up to you.

I ordered some last weekend and got it this Wed. I do the cheap mail.
Call you card co. and see if they got a bill.

Hi guys,

I also have been suffering with Prostatitis severley for the last 6 months. I have also been off for the same amount of time as well. Of course that's when the problem started...right at the end of my cycle. My quality of life sucks: depression, low sex drive, pain in the whole area and difficulty keeping a hard on.

My doc has given me levaquin and Bactrim (I think that was the name) with no reief. I started taking Saw Palmetto with nil results.
I'M GOING CRAZY!!!!

What is this Indoplix stuff....I'd be interested to know more about it.

Also, does Prostatitis mean NO MORE CYCLES???
I can't imagine not being able to juice any more but don't wanna make the prostatitis worse by juicing....HELP!!!
